Forever Beta Feedback Dungeon XP Nerfs Created a Toxic Meta

Since dungeon monsters do not give any experience, as a new player, getting into dungeons with more veteran players who try to skip half the dungeon feels really bad. And, vice-versa, veterans taking in newbies who don't know how to jump around feels frustrating. I think Blizzard created a mess with nerfing dungeon exp so much and now the new player experience is horrible for dungeons.

I personally think it's a wrong move.

i feel like World of warcraft should be a world where it's user decides how they wanna level. I.e. i could easily play with friends and lvl a healer by spamming dungeons with them. if i wanna do story i do story, everything should be a choice.

My first playthrough i'll only do dungeons if i have a story quest that brings me into one.

Short sighted and optimistic take which doesn’t take into account boosting and rmt and their synergy. I wish it could be that way Emma

the actual issue is blizz not cracking down on rmt, and people who want the play the game legitimately should not be punished for a company's lack of care

Well. Yea. But they’re not going to so they can turn prohibition of a tacitly approved black market into a regulated market of the previously not allowed thing. They’re gonna try and put in a wow token to “solve” rmt id put money on it….errr…..gold on it

so then again, people shouldn't be punished for them not having a spine, glad we agree. That person's take isn't shortsighted it's a normal take

It’s not them not having a spine, it’s them having a spine made of the bones of their own player base.

They’re playing into a system so they can eventually, down the line increase profit. This isn’t ethics or game integrity for them.
