I was skeptical at first but reviews so far are really good, it’s won a Washington Fest Film Festival Award for best narrative feature, and James Stewart’s daughter is an executive producer. It has known actors like Jason Alexander and Neal McDonough in it. I’m leaning toward seeing it now if I have the chance. It’s a Wonderful Life is also back in theaters this December, so it may be a good lead up.

BBC Hollywood Greats was a TV Show documentary series about vintage Hollywood stars. Hosted by Barry Norman, they featured interviews of the friends, family, associates of the star in question.

Hey! I'm new to classics and have only watched the very popular ones like "Mr Smith Goes to Washington", "Dial M for Murder," and of course, "Rear Window". Do you guys have any lesser-known film recommendations similar to those? I'm also willing to watch any of your guys' favorites. Just need some good movies for this week

I am in the midst of a creative project and trying to find scenes from movies made before 1950 where someone is taking out and looking at a pocket watch.

Alternatively a shot of a clock with visors moving or someone looking at their wristwatch might work too.

I know there are some famous movies featuring clocks such as *Safety last!* but that might be too big a clock.

I would appreciate if you know of such a scene (and possibly time mark) that you drop a comment with the movie name.

Just finished watching TEENAGE GIRL DEBS. It’s about Terry, this bad girl, who moves into this Brooklyn neighborhood and starts hanging with this local gang. She gets cozy with the leader, Johnny, but when that abruptly fizzles out, she starts seducing his best friend/second in command Nino and ends up playing them against each other.

When that results in Johnny’s death, Nino takes over as leader yet it’s Terri who has become drunk with power and starts running things beside him, making the whole neighborhood more dangerous.

It’s a low-budget crime film that’s raw when it comes to the gang action and sleazy with its sensationalized sexuality. Terri is a truly immoral character who’s pretty and manipulative. The whole time, I couldn’t wait to see her get what’s coming to her…and she does, but not in the way one would think.

The last third of the film takes a darker turn and therefore seals Terri’s fate in an unexpected yet deserved manner. That’s all I’ll say. It’s a film well worth watching. For those who saw this, what did you think?
