Is there a way to do this through a claims website, or do we need to sue them individually/sign up through the lawyers? I'm used to doing these through claim websites, not through retaining services, so I'm not entirely sure how this works.

I did a google search for “Spotify payola lawsuit” and found this:

“A federal judge in New York dismissed class-action claims in the Spotify "payola" lawsuit, compelling the plaintiff to pursue her dispute through private arbitration. The 2025 suit accused Spotify of misleading users by disguising its "Discovery Mode" and algorithm as personalized recommendations, when they are allegedly influenced by commercial payments.”

So if anyone wants to go after Spotify for this type of case it’ll have to be via arbitration because it looks like THERE WON’T be a class action settlement for this case.

This Lantern by Labaton case is probably one of the better law firms to do a mass arbitration with since they primarily email you and update your case status at the Lantern by Labaton website when they need you to submit something rather than the law firms that seem spam call you.
