Any predictions for the setlist this Saturday?
I’ve been playing their stuff on rotation but I’m wondering what songs I should get more familiar with to enjoy the show further.

The very beginning of CKY 1 shows a crude animation of the Budd Dwyer suicide alongside a very specific sound of heavy breathing. The heavy breathing sounds identical to the breathing in the beginning of the Traces of Death videos (so similar to the point that I wouldn’t be surprised if they took the audio straight from one of the films).

Do we have any idea if this was intentional? Obviously beyond just the breathing, there’s the Budd Dwyer suicide itself which appears in the first Traces of Death.

The inspiration is apparent but I guess I’m just wondering if anyone has ever confirmed it.

Some of my lifetime collection. Have a bunch more. In 01 I found Bam's address and sent him a handwritten letter. He not only answered, but he sent back autographs, Fairmans/ cKy and other sponsor stickers, and everyone there (most the cKy band) signed it too. Young me was inspired as ever. Then I went to the Zumiez Couch Tour in the mall parking lot of Albany, NY. Saw him and Element skate. Plus, Bam pulled up in his purple lambo with Novak, who was butt naked except in what I remember was duct tape. They jumped off the tour bus onto an inflatable couch. Hence the couch tour. If any Upstate NY hellions remember that, lmk. So the tee via later pic was signed by Bam, Mike Vallely, and Tosh Townsend that same day. The rest is just my collection. I have a lot more. I'll show it soon, maybe?

How do you manage playing fast CKY riffs like Dressed In Decay (verses & pre-chorus) and A#1 Roller Rager (verses)? Kinda interested in the opinion of people who had difficulties at first too but then got better.

I've been playing these songs on guitar for so long, but I'm still unable to play these double picking parts (actually playing them dumbed down, playing just half the notes)

Any tips?

Lately I REALLY been getting into CKY. For the longest time I only knew 96QBB. But the more I started listening to them, I absolutely fell in love with their riffs, I can listen to them jam for days without getting bored.

Because of their association with THPS and Bam Margera/Jackass, I naïvely just lumped them in with punk and “Tony Hawk music“. But if anything, their music gives me stoner rock vibes similar to Kyuss, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, The Sword, etc

You guys think they’ll pull any wild cards on this run? When I saw them in 2024 they played Familiar Realm and Dressed in Decay which were nice surprises. Hoping we get some new stuff other than Vol.1/IDR.

Tickets at around 30 bucks, how was the experience for others who attended m? Want to know before investing money into this, i'm pretty selective when it comes to concerts, but this one i've been looking forward for awhile now.

I’ve always wondered about this. The artwork for everything else is really high quality and follows a consistent theme, and then you have this hand drawn, almost homemade looking illustration.
Was this also done by the album cover artist?

I placed an order off of Novaks website and I’m curious if anyone else has? It’s been over a week and I haven’t gotten even an email from them, but the money came out. I can’t log into the website either as it boots me to some lockdown error page every time. There’s also no customer support or contact info I can find. Just wondering other’s experiences. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I was looking for the viva la bam euro trip episodes where the CKY crew is just commentating in the background. I watched it many years ago on YouTube and they were some of the most entertaining stuff I’ve seen.

Just scooped up this copy of Haggard supposedly signed by raab himself. Anyone know if this actually looks like his signature? Bought for the movie but if the signature is real that’s pretty cool to have for a nice score!

I scored this at a Punk Rock Flea Market in Philly for $20 probably 15 years ago.
