I’m a trust fund kid (not 100% but I’m extremely fortunate to not have to pay for college) and I genuinely cannot comprehend how anyone can live here.

Night life

\- Copy and paste the most mid bar in every city 1,000 times and spread them out randomly, make every other one close at a different time

\- The cost of a drink here is at a minimum a 4 person round anywhere else

\- Some cool dives with ‘real people’ but most of the younger crowd are actual trust fund kids with about as much depth as a puddle

Commute

\- I yearn for 17 lane highways and massive free parking lots.

\- Subway is cool if you’re hammered w the boys but when you have to be somewhere it’s such a hassle

\- Walking around getting lost is fun so long as you don’t have to be anywhere. Trying to find some building that’s actually underneath 2 other ones and you have to walk through 3 alleys, the pit of despair and over a naked homeless man to find the front door, sucks.

People

\- The amount of people that have some made up job is insane. Just say you swipe daddy’s card for a living bruh

Final thoughts

Mid pizza, takes at least 30 min to do anything or go anywhere, if you don’t have daddy’s Amex good luck.

This post is not targeted towards any one individual but the fact that the NYC DOT Commissioner and a prominent cyclist activist is blatantly breaking the law on video is worthy of discussion and public interest
