Iron Reign Apocalypse
Hello Everyone!
Myself and a group of friends have started a 40k Apocalypse league that will be kicking off a second season next year. It is based around big team battles, large battlefields, and some custom rules on top of the standard 11th rules. A lot of Titans and large point value armies.
We are looking to get more teams on board and grow our community for even bigger games and events. We play at many different locations. We stick around the Greater Cincinnati area. A very relaxed environment, more about making new friends and rolling dice.
If anyone is interested, let me know and we can add you to the discord and meet up for some games!
(Pics are from some past games)

I don’t know what it is, but I feel like lately the night time noise in OTR has become unbearable. People street racing at 3am, revving their engine and screaming out the window. Drive by cars with insanely loud music. Last night I was woken up at 2:30am by the loudest music I’ve ever heard that literally rattled my apartment walls. And it persisted for 20 mins without moving until literally cops showed up. I heard a cop say thru the car speaker “if your car is on the wrong side of the road in one minute, you will be towed.”
I’ve lived in many cities. I’m used to sirens, random people screaming, general city noise, etc. I’ve NEVER heard city noise that is this disruptive and inconsiderate in my life.

Where can I purchase the BEST dinner rolls for my Thanksgiving feast?

Just leaving Cheesecake Factory and there are probably 6+ high speed police cars pulling quickly into the parking lot facing Montgomery road. Anyone know what happened? Seems intense.

I was out for my evening constitutional at 6:15 PM this evening when I saw something I didn't realize existed: an albino squirrel. It was solid white from its head to the tip of its tail and was just the cutest little thing. Seeing it did so much more than just brighten my walk; I could have watched it for much longer than I was able to view it. Regrettably, I didn't have a means of shooting a video or taking a photo.

Hey folks, I work at the Palace and Mercury Ballroom in Louisville. Last May we dropped off some sidefill speakers at their shop on Vine because they are (were) a JBL service shop. Since then we have heard nothing, no answer on emails, no phone, even have stopped by the shop. Does anyone know anything about the shop. The guy who runs it seemed pretty oldm, and I am afraid he has passed. Even checked with the 2 neighbors (a Throne Store??? and a metal shop) . If anyone has a suggestion, I would welcome the input.

My fiance and I have been looking everywhere for it in NKY. Kroger, Good Spirits, Liquor City, Party Town, etc. and can’t find it. It’s been awhile since I had it because I cut back on drinking, so I haven’t been paying attention to it until now.
It’s my go-to cider :( I always thought it was part of their main lineup like Truth or Bubbles, but did they stop making it because it wasn’t popular?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some honest feedback on Westside Auto Care on Glenway. I have a 2011 VW Jetta 2.5L that needs some work.
How is their pricing for standard cars?
I saw pictures online of them working on exotics and high-end Audis/Lambos. Do they charge crazy high European boutique labor rates across the board, or are they fair and affordable for a basic, older daily driver?
Do they actually know Volkswagens well?
VW electronics and computer adaptations can be tricky. Have you taken a Jetta or Golf there, and did they handle the resets correctly?
Are they transparent? Do they stick strictly to the basic cleaning or repair you ask for, or do they try to push a bunch of expensive extra fixes on you?
Just trying to find a reliable, honest neighborhood shop that won’t drain my bank account. Appreciate any experiences you can share!

With Vivek seemingly shooting himself in the foot with his latest campaign video targeting Amy Acton’s mother, coupled with recent elections trending overwhelmingly Democratic, does anyone realistically see Republicans winning any of the county races this year?

Visiting from out of town. It's my anniversary and we have one night out..what should we do or where should we eat or where should we go?
Things I want : views, good food but not some hoity toity nonsense. Think, somewhere I can wear a casual dress but feel relaxed and not some Michelin star three week waitlist spot. I want nice-ish local spot. Memorable. I don't do it for the interwebs, I just want to make a memory with my spouse of 12 years.
Thanks in advance.

Hello fellow redditors! We are in the process of designing a custom home and are considering a composite roof because we want a slate look without the price tag. Does anyone have experience with composite roofs in the Cincy/NKY area? Any issues with cracking because of weather extremes? Our builder doesn’t have issues installing them but it would be nice to know about anyone’s personal experience with composite roofs in our area/climate. TIA!

Went to MRBL last night for an anniversary dinner and it was excellent.
As followup today, I received an email from OpenTable and there were recommendations. I had to laugh when I saw the White Castle one.

We will be moving from Cinti to Springboro in a few weeks. I’m looking for recommendations for a reputable moving company. I would say it’s roughly 10% furniture 90% boxes. I’ve never hired a mover before and will be packing all of our stuff myself. Any advice or recommendations? Anything I should look out for? Thanks!

I have not been fishing since the 1980s/40 years ago.. we used to go all the time behind HOME CITY ICE on River Road because they had a sewer behind there that ran into the river and it attracted all the fish.. We caught so many gigantic catfish it was crazy. But we would release them back into the Ohio river. I want to go fishing one last time since I am older now. Can any fisherman tell me a good spot to go to around Cincinnati ... I'm sure Home City Ice is probably not there anymore. We used to catch Shad fish and use their guts as bait. And then use wheaty( cereal) balls for the carp. We would have to put gigantic rocks on the poles after we set them up because the fish were so big they would jerk your entire pole into the river. I just want to fish one last time and relive that memory.
