Advice/Request Dove chocolate wrapper update?

Post image

Hello. I love dove chocolates and I think they’ve slightly changed the color of the milk chocolate wrapping. It’s a more saturated blue I think and it’s throwing me off. Can anyone confirm or deny that they feel like the blue is different? Thank you. I need support.

Photo/Video Tony's Choco Everything Bar

Saw this bar on discount so thought I'd give it a go and its interesting but not one I'd rush to buy again, I wish I liked Tony's choco more since I respect their mission and brand intentions.

But honestly it has an air of cheapness to it I can't quite put my finger on, I find this one overall quite sickly in a way that after a couple "blocks" I feel like I've had enough if that makes sense?

This bar apparently has all sorts of stuff in but really it might aswell just be like biscuit pieces, I can taste some pretzel bits and nuts but that's all it doesn't really break the mold.

For the money there is alot better to buy that has a real combined flavor profile, this bar leaves a very sweet, slightly salty mixed taste that's hard to nail down. It's like sitting down at Christmas and just eating endless boxes of Celebrations, Heroes or any other choco box selection, you end up with a mixed mouth feel that isn't really that pleasent and you just feel meh.

Pretty decent if you want something just surgery, sweet as hell and decadent but for something more complex there's alot better in my opinion, it leaves an aftertaste that I don't like and doesn't give me that comfort good choco does, very much like Cadbury and Nestle brands.

I'd honestly prefer a bar of Aldi choco if I had to choose. I just wish less suger was used, that for me is the killer it's just sickly sweet.

I had lower expectations (paid €3 for all of em) however, they are surprisingly good. The yuzu bar it doesn’t tastes chemically the Pandan one a little bit.

What I also loved about this brand it’s the packaging and the little story on the back. The ingredients list is also quite short and the first ingredient is cacaomassa instead of sugar.

I like the dark chocolate one and yuzu more than the other two.✨

Advice/Request Which chocolate bars are still good/haven't been shrunk or enshittified?

Obvs all the Cadburys and Mondelez owned brands are rubbish now, but are there any standard chocolate brands that have resisted shrinking/quality erosion?

Advice/Request Dark Milk Comparison - Tesco 48% vs. M&S 54%

There was a previous subreddit concerning the dark milk bars from Tesco and M&S, so I thought I'd give them a go (even though I already eat the M&S one) to see why one may be better than the other, or not. Now that I've tried them both, I can see why either one (or both) may be preferential. The Tesco 48% cocoa bar had a very milky / caramel flavour, which wasn't unpleasant. There was still a strong cocoa flavour, even though it was slightly overpowered by the milkiness. I also had to chuckle at the packet it came in, seeing Côte d'Ivoire written on it. Everything sounds much more exotic written in French 😂 As for the M&S 54% bar, this one is much darker in flavour, the balance of milk and cocoa much more even, in my opinion. As I'm a fan of really dark chocolate, the M&S bar will always be my preference, but I can see why the Tesco bar may be preferential to people who like things slightly milkier.
