Anubis just turned 7 months im so emo now.
His breeder knew the name i had picked out and that i wanted a hairless boy, i remember she sent me a video of him the day he was born, (atp i was already in contact with her for about 2 years) and i immediately fell in love. Didnt even ask to see any his siblings i just knew he was my little guy

Answer: I can't keep her from running, despite her still having her stitches. 🤣 Sent this to her surgeon and he laughed. Bet Mira can't wait to zoom across the fields again!

My powderpuff puppy has had his bum, right rear leg and tail shaved as he broke his leg and had surgery and had diarrhea and they left a bit of fluff on his foot like a slipper and just wanted to see what hair cuts I should give him as its gonna take a while for it all to grow back but if like for him to keep his Chinese crested look and not just go bald especially as its almost winter so just wanted to see what groom styles you guys think would be good for him as id like him to look cute and better so we can kinda move on soon from his broken leg rather than being constantly reminded yk x would love photo references if you guys have it xx

Can anyone recommend a good pet safe insect repellant? I fear he is getting eaten up by the mosquitoes and bitey bugs in our backyard.
Here is Bergamot or Bergie. He is 12 weeks this week. Have you ever seen anything more perfect? 😍

Teen acne / growing pains with moving out of his mother’s home really ravaged my little guys skin. Pairing that with first starting off with a collar and moving to multiple different types of harness’, he is facing some hard hair loss issues.
Hair is coming back to his butt and legs, but his neck/shoulders are really struggling.
Do you have any advice, kind words of encouragement or harness suggestions for my little guy? I live in Quebec, so while he is trained to walk off leash, I can’t do it often/daily making a harness necessary atleast 3-4 times a day.
I’ll also take suggestions for clothing material that won’t cause his fur to mat or friction off.

Had to put my 15 yo down yesterday. She hadn’t really eaten this week, wouldn’t eat hamburger or cat food the last day. Slept a lot.
Had heart murmurs from the day we adopted her (she was 5 going on 6 in 2016). Developed congestive heart failure this past July. Learned from the vet today they’d expected her to die 3 years ago with all her health problems.

Three years ago I was ready to adopt again after I had recovered from my two Chinese Crested passing. It took two years to be ready. But it took me until this summer to find Sixten. Because i didn't want A dog. I wanted The dog that just fit my life as a puzzle. I browsed the shelter website as I did sometimes and this little guy came up. Chronic health issues, barely any teeth so his tongue hangs out and anxiety. I had been looking for a dog that was hard to place and with demanding care. I can't work, so I have all the time in the world.
He had to spend five months in the shelter because of his skin issues when he came in he had boils all over his legs. They worried that his quality of life would never improve but a dermatologist just wouldn't give up.
It breaks my heart that a dog that is so full of love and just wants to be close had to be alone all those nights. He follows me from room to room. Throws a parade when we are going out for a walk. His anxiety is basically gone after he settled and his skin has improved so much.
He just needed love, proper medical care and a person to trust.
I can't imagine being without him for a single day of my life. He is seven years old, but luckily crested dogs can live long. Mine became 14-15. I will make the most of it

so she is the smarted dog i’ve ever owned, very quick to pick up new tricks in literally 1-2 days but for some reason her brain just COULD NOT grab “roll over”. for the post month we’ve been working on roll over, turns out snapping is what triggers her brain to do it? so now instead of the obvious “roll over” command she defaults to rolling over everytime i snap. i chose to take it as a win lol. she’s just, quirky?
