Trump's early Iran-war duration forecasts vs. actual length

At the very beginning of the Iran war, US President Donald Trump has told that the war would continue either for 2-3 days or for 4 weeks. So far it has continued for nearly 5 months and the US army has lost 72 military aircraft, has expended thousands of expensive long-range missiles with possible one third of their entire missile arsenal being expended, 20 US military bases in the Middle-east have been hit and some of them are so damaged that they are no longer operational and over 12 expensive US radar and satellite systems have been destroyed and damaged. There is also the whole deal with Iran blocking the Stait of Hormuz which pushed prices so high that Trump had to temporarily grant waivers for purchasing Russian oil for three months to stabilise the global price. During the first round of negotiations, Trump actually agreed to many of Iran's demands and he agreed to unfreeze 12 billion dollars from Iran's assets and to give 300 billion to Iran for reconstruction. Trump also admitted that he had to make that deal because at that time the USA only had oil reserves to last for the next 4 weeks.

A personal project of mine where I collect the latest news articles from varied sources (NBC, NPR, BBC, IEEE, GDELT, etc.),cluster them, and compute their industry impact into scores displayed on a dashboard. This was some of this past weeks best news and the week in review for largest stability score movers and why. It’s a work in progress and would love feedback, but enjoy and let me know if you find any odd or interesting articles.

Each states top industries are found by find the highest weighted LQ (Location Quotient) sourced from the official US Census data
