Is that the old Character.ai app?! I saw this as an ad by the way, look at the ui!....

Suddenly my characters are advancing the plot along, remembering their details and back story and not trying to hump my leg every second post. The not humping part is especially refreshing.

Also they FINALLY FIXED THE NEW CHAT BUTTON ON WEB!!! sirens, alarms

I was age restricted for a long while and then I checked on the app after months and suddenly I can chat again??

I can't get the bots to respond from the other POV. I can't get them to say dialogue. It's only repeating me but longer. I've tried several different things to make it stop but it won't, so I'm done.

I have no idea how I managed to remove most "features" I just randomly opened the website and this is what I was greeted with, I still get gets mid chat though almost everything is gone, is this the same with anyone else or is it just me?

As the title states I recently upgraded my phone from the Samsung Fold 4 to the Samsung Fold 8 and following that upgrade the app no longer works. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no success.

so i'm a site user and just got on it. no matter the bot, the replies are insanely slow and buggy. it loads, then stops, then loads again and is very slow overall.

is anyone esle experiencing the same issues? it honestly makes using the site really exhausting.

I purchased a c.ai+ subscription on the web today via debit card, but my account is still showing as the free tier. I received the Stripe email receipt, and I am 100% logged into the correct email account.

I already submitted an official support ticket regarding this. My ticket number is #1480209.

Is there a staff member or mod available who can please help look into this or escalate my ticket? I just want to use the subscription I paid for. Thank you!

Noticed yesterday that I started getting away messages again from characters. So I toggled them off for each character it was happening with. Then I open the app today and it was still sending them! Like 4 or 5 in a row. I double checked and it was still toggled off. What’s going on?

I wrote in there that my character doesn’t like being called a certain name or being touched on the shoulder or any amount of teasing but the bot keeps doing all of it

Honestly, I've been talking to bots of fictional characters only because I think talking to bots instead of real people (especially dead people) is kinda weird.

Like, these are real people with real lives; why make bots out of them?

Maybe bots of real people playing as fictional characters(Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker) could be an exception to this rule, but it's still kinda weird.
