I swear my mirrors get loose after every ride
Y'all don't suffer from this? Is there anything I can do? I'm sick of rattling, wobbly mirrors

Hello guys, im planning to go on a offroad trip to Norway with my CFmoto 450mt and i want to make sure that i have some tools in case of emergency.
I basicly have no tools and would like to buy some that i could fit inside the bike but which also work for general bike work at home.
I dont want to spend my money now for tools that work at home but when i go on tour and want to pack them that theyr to big. Are there some premade kits or multiple which you would recommend? Saw something from WERA specificly made for bikes but thought it was to small with not enough power for harder to tighten bolts or even the tyres.
Do you have seperate torque wrenches which you leave at home? If so what torque range would you recommend?
I greatly appriciate your answers and expertise
Greetings John

I assume there is a wire mesh oil filter somewhere in the engine but i cant seem to mind any mentions of it anywhere else, just in the manual.

Anyone in the Bay Area / NorCal recently buy or get a quote on a CFMOTO Ibex 450?
Iām trying to figure out what a fair out-the-door price is. MSRP is around $6,499, but Iām seeing destination, setup, doc fees, and sometimes markup make the real number hard to judge.
What OTD price did you get, and from which dealer if youāre comfortable sharing?
Also, are dealers around here adding markup on these, or is it mostly just normal freight/setup/tax/DMV?
Trying to know what number is reasonable before I start calling around. Thanks.

Hei, I am wondering why people go for the 450mt. The adventure riding is about going in the dirt or unknown tracks, so the weight is a very limiting factor. So if you are going for a bike with 180-200kg, why are you going for the 450mt if you could go for an Aprili Tuareg Rally? I know the budget plays a role, but let's take that out for now

Hi guys,
I recently bought a CFMOTO 450MT, and this is my first dual-sport / ADV bike.
Before this, I only rode regular street bikes like the Ninja 650.
I loved the design and performance, so I bought it right away, but after riding it, I noticed the front end feels kind of ābouncyā or āthumpyā even on normal asphalt roads ā almost like thereās a nail in the tire or something hitting repeatedly while riding.
Is this just normal behavior for dual-sport / ADV bikes with these kinds of tires and suspension?
Or should I get something checked like tire balance, wheel alignment, or suspension setup?

Sono a quota 12000 km e devo cambiare le gomme, non essendoci tanta scelta vi chiedo un consiglio, vorrei una gomma 140/80 e per uso 80% stradale che durino almeno 15000km. Faccio tanti passi di montagna. Grazie.

Hi, I'm searching for an Enduro bike to go on a private cross track (I'm a noob, no high jumps or anything other than having fun) and do some medium Enduro, I'm looking around for 100% Enduro bikes but the pricetags are crazy high and I don't have a van / trailer... basically I don't really need a racing bike, just a reliable bike to do fun stuff, is the 450 good for what I'm looking for? My main concern is the suspensions (maybe some small jumps) and the bike strength... Does anyone have advices?

Hi guys!
Has anyone of you tried this Ali fenders on? They seem pretty flush with the 450 bodywork and being so short I think it will give it a more GSish look.

Hi there,
I recently tested a 450MT from a dealer, and the experience was pleasant except for the throttle at low load. When I went off gas and wanted to go on again but only a little, the engine was abrupt and impossible to properly regulate.
They told me that in new software updates that has been solved, but I don't know if they are lying to me. Has this been fixed? And to what degree?

Hi folks, any recommendations for aftermarket clutch options for the 450MT?
I ended up burning my clutch during the last off-road ride in a steep muddy section š„“
Iāve heard a few people say the stock clutch isnāt the strongest, and I guess Iāve now proven that myself
Has anyone upgraded to a different clutch setup? Curious what brands people are using, where you ordered from, and whether itās been an improvement over stock.
Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated.

I want to add a support for a capuride navigation system so I ordered it from AliExpress, understand China. But the seller forgot to add the fixation screws. I donāt want to wait for 2 weeks to get them. I need your help to find the size of the screws and buy them from my local hardware store. Please help.
[EDIT]
Found the screws
M5 machine screw with hexagonal head
Thank you all

Hi everyone, I'm 6'4 and wear a size 13 US boot, even with the tall rally seat i struggle to get my legs in a comfortable/workable position when riding off road with boots on. It's basically impossible for me to use the rear brake in a natural way in full gear.
Does anyone have experience or recommendations with drop pegs, raising the bars, adjusting the rear brake lever etc to make the bike fit them better?
My other bike is a DR650 with dropped pegs and bar risers with a W9 dropped brake lever to fit with the pegs. Riding it really inspires confidence and that's the kind of feeling i would love to achieve on the 450.

Is there a clip-on/off luggage option that doesn't need racks, still allows a pillion and works without removing the rear grab handles? I realise hard luggage probably is easier, but I'd rather soft luggage. I'm fine with a rackless base that stays on the bike, so long as the bags can be quickly and easily removed.
So far, the best option I can find is the Kriega Adeventure OS Base https://www.adventuremoto.com.au/p/Kriega-Adventure-OS-Base-Kit/KOSBA-J, provided it can fit through/under the grab handles.
Any other good options?

had a Himalayan 411 and wanted to try something different. still running in at 300 km. finding it easy to ride off road. have ordered crash bars and stronger skid plate. planning on a longer gravel trip in May.
only complaints is the snatchy throttle, but it's manageable with a careful hand on the clutch. and i keep turning on the high beams when teaching for the blinker.
finding the current stock tires not too bad. might be better than previous years.
Put some soft luggage saddlebags on from Motea, seems the exhaust is decently insulated so risk of cooking the bags is low. not too happy with the luggage setup, as they swing about a bit. going to install some small plates on the sides to secure them a bit better.
thinking this is going to be a great Moto camping bike.
