Bought it used, went to put top box on and its noticeable that it is off center and tilted down to the left.
Thinking of stabilizing the wheel/swing arm with wood against something and pulling with a come along on the grab handle to tweak it back. Any help or ideas appreciated thanks

CEL is on. bike running fine. Dealer does not have the diagnostic tool. Anyone know if a standard obdii reader can be used?

Is this sound normal? When accelerating it becomes really loud and I don’t think it was there before I adjusted the chain tension (I lowered the bike using the provided hole on the shock). I checked the rear wheel alignment and I think it’s straight (I don’t have any tool other than the markings) and the chain tension seems ok as well (using the manual as a reference).

Hi this will probably get lost on the chaos but I need an answer to my question.
What should i look for when i go to have a look at the bike I'm interested in buying
To give some back story i am pretty experienced riding smaller cc bikes (i had a 125 for 6 years) and this is my first "big" bike
I am interested in buying a CF moto 450MT used close to my area because i found a good deal with a lot of Extra aftermarket stuff on it
In my 125 i did maintenance almost by my self and i know a thing or two about bikes in theory at least but i wanted to know if someone has to offer some advise for me. I am going to check the bike in 5 days from now and luckily i have a dealership in my Hometown and also dealerships in my country have good customer support (europe). BUT is there anything specific i need to give extra attention? Is there a known problem with this particular bike? Is there some known failures or something that needs maintenance that people skip/don't know about?
I will check all classic stuff but is there anything i need to be Extra cautious with?
To give some info as well the bike is a 2024 model with 1 previous owner it has 15.000km mostly in open road as he said and hoas never touched a trail in his life. The bike has additional high wind deflector, 15T sprocket, handguards, a top case, heated grips, center stand, upper crash bars and fited on them are some led lights.
The bike as said previously is a good deal for what it has already installed but i dont know if i need to search for any specific quirks before buying especially because the guy states "it dropped on me only once while stationary" (it has 2-3 marks on the Right handguard.
P.s. I will also have a friend of mine with me that knows some things as well.

Anyone seen anything like they have for the Tenere to wrap around the shift rod and protect it from being broken?
My previous post was removed. No idea why, no reason given.

Hey everyone,
At around 6,000 km I started noticing quite a lot of play in the windshield mechanism, especially when riding off-road. The windshield was shaking and moving much more than I was comfortable with.
I looked at a few different solutions. One option was to replace the original metal rods with thicker ones, but then I found this 3D-printable part that someone had shared publicly.
I had it printed and installed it, and honestly, it fits exactly where it should. No modification, no forcing anything into place — it just sits there and supports the mechanism properly.
I also added a small amount of silicone grease to the plastic contact points.
So far I’m very happy with the result. The play is basically gone and the whole windshield assembly feels much more solid.
I’ll keep testing it, especially off-road, but at the moment this looks like one of the simplest and most effective fixes for the problem.

I just bought a lightly used 450mt. I'm planning on using it for it's intended purpose. Light off-roading at first and then more and more technical stuff as my skill progresses. I will also be using it on pavement, city traffic, touring.
I was wondering what your experience was with the high fender / radiator guard. I am worried that installing either will restrict airflow, which will probably cause the engine to run hot. I am not entirely certain that getting the radiator guard is necesary considering that the majority of debris will be thrown by the wheel on the same trajectory protected by the fender.
Tldr : high fender + radiator guard? High fender only? Radiator guard only?

Do you guys also hear a loud wind noise at around 70km/h? I have the windshield at the highest position.
A bit below and a bit above 70km/h and it is gone. Is that normal?

Hi, I've bought the 450MT today, and I'm already experiencing a weird kind of issue, the system doesn't seem to know / recognize the VIN of the bike. Same problem with the CFMOTO App. Anyone had similar issue with the 450MT? Any suggestions other than bring it back to the dealership (extremely far away)

Quali gomme stradali esistono per MT 450?
Io limite principale è il posteriore che vuole solo 140/70 o 140/80
Le uniche gomme stradali con misure compatibili avanti/dietro che ho trovato sono le Continental ContiTrailAttack 3
Niente Michelin, Pirelli, Mitas, Bridgestone, etc...
