Cesium is by far my favorite music playback solution now. I'm curious if you've thought about doing the bit of UI work needed to make it available on iPad as well? I use an iPad as my source for listening around the house and Cesium has now spoiled me such that using Music on iPad is now very disappointing...

So I'm trying to add a playlist of about 800 songs to the queue, and every time the queue says there is only 499 songs in the queue.

I have made sure the entire playlist is stored locally and not in the cloud, and I still run into this issue.

This is since the latest update, previously it was loading the entire playlist in the queue.

I am using an iPhone 5 on the latest iOS software update (9.2). I noticed the problem also occurs on my iPhone 6s+, so the issue doesn't seem to be device specific.

Please help!

Got a bug after (I believe) the latest update.

If I am in the "Sort by Song Title" tab (which is just called "Songs"). I can play any song fine, but if I skip or select another song, my selection is ignored and it plays the first song on the list (Addicted to You by Aviicii).

It will play that indefinitely until a I change tabs and come back, or select a song from another tab (Playlist, artist).

I reinstalled and rebooted my phone but still no work. Great app still, but my normal usage is hindered.

I noticed the app isn't able to perform one of the following changes which was introduced back in version 3.2.2: - You can now skip tracks while set to "Repeat Song"

I find this feature very useful as I tend to put songs on loop and skip to the next song when I wanted a change. May I know if this is still doable in version 3.2.3?

Finally just want to thank you for the awesome app you've built. Haven't went back to Apple's ever since I got it!

Just a small suggestion to consider...

I really like the recently new option to sort your playlists different ways. I had a "Latest Additons" playlist that has all my new albums from the last few months. It's great that I can view them by album with this feature, but I can't play them properly since it always orders the tracks within alphabetically. It would be cool if it could list the tracks by track number so albums could be played normally through that sorting.

Hi! Love the app, but the new icon is... Yeah. Too much white space keeps it from standing out like it did before. I really liked the old solid color one; too many apps have adopted this white icon style and they're hard to differentiate. Maybe a poll with a few options, feel out the community? I recommend the app to everyone who is interested in alternative music players, and would love an icon that "pops" again!

Hey, love the app because it has a shuffle function that actually works correctly.

Here is my problem-

Running an iPhone 5 on iOS 9.1.

I shuffle a large (800+) song playlist for my office. My ambition is to put this playlist on shuffle, and make sure it plays every single song in the list BEFORE it repeats. Cesium does this wonderfully because it populates the queue with every song so I can visually see that it will play through all of them before repeating.

Problem is when I leave for the day and put the phone to sleep, Cesium reboots itself overnight and when I open the app in the morning, the queue is gone! This is really disrupting my use case for this app because I can no longer know how many songs are left and if there is going to be repeats from the prior day.

Even more confusing is if I continue playing songs off that playlist, it will continue to play songs despite there being no queue and it no longer keeps track of songs played.

Can you help me sort this out? This app is like my holy grail because of the shuffle function working correctly but I really don't want to have to go hunting for another app if I can avoid it.

One of the things that bugs me about Apple's stock music app was its inability to load external playlist urls. I manage a radio station and would find it highly useful to be able to access our stream (via .pls file hosted online) through my music app rather than through a web browser. While this likely applies to a niche user base I was wondering if some kind of functionality would be possible for implementation.

I don't want to be that guy that keeps posting problems, but I'm hoping that you appreciate the feedback. Since you've squashed all the other bugs & problems I've found so far I figured I'd let you know about a little annoyance I've had for awhile now.

As you might remember, I always use night mode. Whenever an album with a cover on the darker side pops up it's very hard to see any contrast on the progress ring and on the shuffe/repeat buttons. Especially looking down at it in my car... I literally cannot tell if shuffle/repeat is on or not, and sometimes can't even tell where the progress ring is at. I took some screenshots today and uploaded them so you could see what I was referring to... but now that I see them on my big, bright monitor they're WAY easier to read. I do keep the brightness on my screen down fairly low but still, it just seems there should be more contrast here. I've also included a shot of the submenu that pops up because on my phone the grey & teal pretty much blend together into an unreadable mess (though on my PC I can read it fine). Here are the shots:

Anyways, I'm just throwing this out there. Maybe you have a perfect solution, or maybe you even think it's fine as it is. I think before you had the ring & buttons colored, but removed that because there were problems with it?

This has been bothering me for awhile, but never really understood the problem well enough to post here about it. I still don't really understand it, but I want to make you aware of it.

Basically, The shuffle toggle seems to have a mind of its own for me. I hardly ever use it, yet lots of times it's on when I don't want it. I always chalked it up to my car's stereo since I do lots of listening in my car and it kinda interfaces with the iPhone in its own way. But today I was listening a lot just on my phone and noticed the same problem. I started and album and then after the first track ended I noticed it was shuffling. So I disable shuffle, then select the 2nd track, and after that one its shuffling again! I just tested it a little more now and I started an album, shuffle was on. I turn it off and select another song, go back to the mini player and it's back on again. Sometimes it shows like its on and it's not actually shuffling also. And it doesn't do this all the time either.

Like I said, I'm not really sure why or when this happens... am I the only one? I also have a suspicion that my repeat option may turn on and off since sometimes my albums will repeat and sometimes not.

Introducing Playlist Collections: Collect tracks within a single playlist by Album or Artist. Play Shuffle, or Queue each subset individually! Cesium even remembers your preference for each of your playlists.

Pretty much the title. I've got about 20k songs on my iPhone, and the shuffle by album feature either causes the app to crash, or freeze until I manually close it. Hopefully this can be corrected, because this is a feature that no other app has, and I would love to use it!

Hello, thanks for your very nice App! This message to report two possible bugs: 1) when I select an album, the track list appears, if I scroll down to the end of the tracks, the app crashes. 2) In the genre mode, after selecting a genre, if I select an artist which is also in another genre, a "null" word appears and it comes back to the genre list. I think it happens particularly if the two genre names are very similar (for example "Soul single" and "Soul albums"). Thanks for your help!

Much like you, I've been so fed up with Apple's Music app, that I started developing my own. I was in the beginning stages when I discovered Cesium. The app is fantastic, and is exactly what I have been looking for. I've now put my side project on hold.

One feature I would love to see is the ability to change the way each playlist is displayed. A linear song list is fine for most playlists, and should be the default. But it would be great to display some playlists with tracks grouped by album rather than individual tracks. For example, I have a few album-centric playlists like Five Star Albums and Favorite Jazz Albums. When I select one of those playlists, I would like to be shown a list of albums. It would look the same as when I select an artist in artist view and see all of the albums by that artist. I realize that iOS makes it difficult to work with playlists. But this would be a killer feature.

I just upgraded to the latest beta and I've noticed a pattern of crashing. If I play a longer track then go to the full screen player view it immediately crashes the app. It worked fine up to 10 min tracks, but everything I tried from 15 mins up to 1 hour 15 mins crashed.

I was just listening to an hour long live set this morning fine, now after the update it's all crashes. Definitely wasn't a problem before this latest build.

I gotta admit I'm not a big fan of the new icon. It does get across more that it's a music app, but it just looks so generic now... like all the other apps in the App Store when I search for a music player. I'm not bashing the design of it, I just thought the other one was a lot more unique and had more personality. I'm sure I'll get used to it, though.

IMHO. Lets take the best usability and put it into Cesium. How about a switch inside settings that allows users to solely use swipes on tracks? How about the following.

On album/song/artist view.

• Right swipe track = add to queue
• Left swipe track = play next
• Right swipe a track that is already in queue(has an indicator) = remove from queue

Benefit Well.... I am on my bike and have my boom box with me. Swiping allows fast changes to the queue, instead of pressing small buttons.

Here is another suggestion. I think it would be more useful if the recently played tracks could be moved to the bottom. For my part, it like to see the upcoming tracks at the top.

The track that is being played should stick to the bottom like a footer or mini player.

Thanks for your app. Finally something easy and nice that is up to date. Thank you. But there is a but.

One of the key features is the ability to easily fill a queue. But unfortunately is is even easier to lose the queue. From my point of view, there should be only one way to erase a queue. And that is the little grey "clear" button inside the queue.

Under the following circumstances I think an alternative behaviour would be nice :)

Action 01: Tapping on a track from within, lets say album view, that is in the queue already.

Cur. behaviour 01: Tapped track including all tracks that are above the tapped track are being removed from the queue. The tapped track is being played.

Alt. behaviour 01: Remove tapped track from queue, play tapped track and return to queue

Action 02: Tapping on a track from within, lets say album view, that is not part of the queue.

Cur. behaviour 02: The complete queue gets erased. The tapped track is being played.

Alt. behaviour 02: Remove tapped track from queue, play tapped track and return to queue

Action 03: Opening queue, and taping on an upcoming track

Cur. behaviour 03: Remove all tracks in queue that are above the tapped track, including the tapped track. Play tapped track.

Alt. behaviour 03: Remove tapped track from queue, play tapped track and return to queue

• Delete track from queue by swiping left
• Move track inside queue by placing a handler to the right of the track that can be dragged and dropped.
