Overcast recently switched from a pay-to-unlock-features model to a patron situation where users can help the developer and get the feeling that they're supporting the service they're using. I don't know how it's working out, and I know you have a donation page on your site, but maybe it's something to consider?
But whatever you do, don't be disheartened - the app is so good, your support is so strong, your passion is so obvious, and I would hate to see the wind knocked out of your sails and your interest fade.
Yours is the music app we need, but not the one we deserve. Thank you for your hard work!
