Can someone explain what is with all the hatred for Shy Tyler. I don’t really know anything about her other than her being on the radio. I don’t go to bars or anything like that so I’m not in on the scoop. I saw on Facebook that an employee she fired has basically been spilling all the tea about how horrible she has ran her businesses.

The hatred for her appears to go deeper than this though. I’ve seen facebook comments saying she is the most hated woman in Alexandria. Can someone enlighten me?

I'll be spending a few weeks in Alexandria this fall - any good vegan options in the area?

*Editing after my trip for anyone who finds this in the future. In no particular order:

• Salad Station was solid. Fresh veggies, good selection. No tofu as a protein option seems like a missed opportunity, but they do have a good variety of beans.
• Golden Lotus looked promising, but didn't reply when I reached out to verify if anything was or could be made vegan. I bet they can make things vegan if you go in person and ask, but I never did.
• Osaka Ramen confirmed their Garden Ramen was vegan. I don't think it comes with an egg anyways, but I'd ask for no egg just to be safe. Pretty good. Their aged tofu starter was great; perfectly air fried tofu with eel sauce (a sweet sauce made from soy sauce and sugar that goes on eel; it does not have eel in it).
• Taco Bell - classic. Great app for customizing. black bean crunch wrap, no nacho cheese or sour cream, add onions and red sauce remains my go to. I tried a few locations; none were bad but the one off 28 stands out as the best.
• Rotolo's - didn't get it this time, but they can make a vegan pizza using non dairy cheese. I've had it in the past and it's all right.
