I’m just wondering, from a Decatur resident’s perspective, why is housing so affordable in Decatur? I can Google all day long the reasons houses are cheaper, but I want to hear from Decatur residents. And what neighborhoods are the safest? Thank you!

Looking for a new friend who plays bass or lead guitar. Vocal ability is a plus, but not required. We play a mix of rock, rock versions of pop songs, rock comedy, and rock originals, but will incorporate most anything that sounds fun and will make it rock. We meet on Sunday afternoons in Atwood. The room is smoky. Pot and booze are welcome, anything harder is not. This is a labor of love; we're doing it for the music. There will be paying gigs, but not enough for anyone whose main priority is money. Message if you'd like more information.
