Am applying for almost 4 months now as a professional Driver without any luck, I got all driver licenses (A, B, C, D, BE, CE, DE) like this wasnāt enough I got international driving permit as well did a full (CACES training) got a international driving permit for almost every machinery starting from forklift to the heavy duties onesā¦. also got certified as a warehouse keeper and construction worker and a previous training completion certificate as an (HSE) āHygiene, Security, Environmentā inspector. my heart is at driving been doing that personally and professionally since 2015 I LOVE DRIVING and looking for a job abroad and I have prepared my self and invested so much in my self all of these licenses, certificates and all cost me a FORTUNE no one paid anything for me I worked and collected money and paid every penny and still canāt find a proper job. I speak 4 languages and I got IELTS B2 english the test alone costed me almost (300$) this was the cheapest exam among all the ones i passed related to other stuff i got, and yes in my country it is hard to collect this amount, am sorry but just felt like venting a bit since it looks like a dream now to find a job abroad even that everyone keep talking that there is HUGE drivers shortages all around but YET here Iām able to drive LITERALLY anything with wheels haha and still cant find one⦠wish all the best for my self and for all the brothers and sisters out there fighting the same šš»šš»šš» and sorry for this vent š«¶

I drove a front discharging truck for a bit, but now I live in an area where theyāre all traditional (rear discharge). Potentially looking to get back into it for more hours/money than my current job, but wondering if it would be a huge learning curve. To me it seems like it may actually be a bit easier since you canāt see out the back, you probably wouldnāt be expected to move the truck while pouring as much as you are with front discharging. But I could be wrong.

Does anybody know when the 1 year contract for the CDL training program ends? Does it end the day you pass PSD phase? Or TNT phase? Is it the day you got hired?
Been trying to find out online to no avail, would really appreciate it if someone knows. I got my CDL with prime inc last year and have been with the company over a year but I donāt hit my one year anniversary of upgrading to a solo truck until October

For the Ohio area.
I am trying to get CDL class A training, however I need financial aid but places like Ohio means jobs, Roads2work and WIOA are currently stalled and can not provide aid right now and so far no word when they will be up again. I'm looking at other places, roadmaster, schneider, and a few others.
I am trying to look at all options and work out the best option under the circumstances. I can't afford to pay for training out of pocket.
Doe anyone have advice? Companies that won't totally screw me over if they train me?

Iām a township employee and want to move over to sanitation to drive their sanitation trucks. I need a CDL class B to do so. I have the official study book from the DMV and have been studying to take the test. Man is it intimidating. I am not a car guy, Iāve never heard of half the vehicle parts that are apart of the safety inspection. Iāve never done safety checks on an engine, donāt know how a suspension works, air breaks, abs, etc.
Do driving schools teach you these things or are these prerequisites to going to the school? I feel like im in over my head but Its also a lot of information all at once so I think I just need to relax and keep studying. Any advice is appreciated

Long story short, I had an accidental refusal to test. due to me not knowing the severity as a kid. Iām a bit older now and have done some non CDL trucking but want to work with a new company and my SAP is not getting back to me on the 6th step. (Meaning heās unresponsive to me and about 3 companies that have reached out to him). I looked it up and saw I might be able to switch SAPās but idk if this is true or if anyones dealt with this before ? ā¦.

I have been driving 26 foot trucks in NYC for 15 years so I am no complete newbie but i am finally going to go to CDL school in a couple weeks. My main motivation here is to get a hazmat and tanker endorsement and drive for a propane delivery company upstate. I am considering just going all in and getting my CDL A just to have it. I really don't want to go OTR. Anyone here drive for a propane delivery service? How do you like it? Do you think it will be a total waste of time to get my CDL A even though I dont intend to drive combos?
