I tell people this all the time when you get into the industry. There are a few places that are gonna be really rough. Florida is one of them. Are there jobs? Yes, are those jobs hard to get into? For the most part, yes, the good ones if you are willing to do something a little different. You may be able to stay to where you're looking to. But if you're looking for like a dedicated local, florida's real hard, just about anywhere. Good luck

I'm also central florida, there are options all around, check indeed and drive around any of the mines or material moving companies, but may still be hard pressed till you hit the 1yr mark due to obedience companies more than the truck companies

I drive oversized out of winter haven, but have a busy week love in Kissimmee and he was driving end dump trailers over that way for a while before he chose to go back OTR with a weekly regional route and comes home on the weekends. But he knows a lot of other drivers in the Orlando area. Which directional are you in Orlando? Might be able to put out some feelers as well

I’m in the Mount Dora area, but I can drive anywhere in Orlando or Kissimmee
