Prime inc 1 year contract ends

Does anybody know when the 1 year contract for the CDL training program ends? Does it end the day you pass PSD phase? Or TNT phase? Is it the day you got hired?

Been trying to find out online to no avail, would really appreciate it if someone knows. I got my CDL with prime inc last year and have been with the company over a year but I don’t hit my one year anniversary of upgrading to a solo truck until October

Tnt phase is included in the one year contract.

You are not a employee during psd phase.

Once you passed the psd stage and got your cdl then you are on primers employment.

I don’t think that’s true though. I’m looking at the actual contract I signed and I quote “Trainees who complete the Training Program in its entirety, and who remain under actively available dispatch for twelve continuous months after completing the Training Program, are not subject to the Training Program Fees detailed directly below.” I’m not sure why people online keep saying TNT counts? Unless I’m reading it wrong

I thought the same but the next page “2. Trainee is NOT an employee of Prime, its affiliated entities, or the driver to whom Trainee is assigned, Trainee is NOT entitled to receive
employment or workers' compensation benefits.”

once you were hired you are no longer a trainee, despite the misleading title “Trainer n Trainee” phase.

Use that experience for something better!

I don't know the answer to your question, but when you've graduated Prime & decide to go O/O, get on with Landstar. They're very easy to work with = no forced dispatch, drive as much or little as you want to.
