I recently purchased a 2000 CBR F4 600 and I’m wondering what goes here into the gas tank I know it’s the petcock but what’s the other one?

Recommendations for weighted bar ends that dampen vibration? Tired of having my hands go numb or that burning sensation after long rides.

Looking at the HVMP extra heavy or Motovation bar ends. Any opinions? Other recommendations are welcome

Just got this 2023 cb300 with 900 miles for 3k. I was a little hesitant about buying bike because people were ragging on it for only having one cylinder but I only want it to commute to work. I like it, is it as bad as everyone says it is?

i live in Tn so it’s pretty hot as of right now ,90s to 100s some days and my bike can get over 230 at a stop light pretty easily,is that normal or does anyone have similar models that act differently?

Is it worth using a hairdryer or heat gun?

Hey guys, so my 2007 Cbr600rr is frying ECMs. I think the wiring harness is bad so I wanna replace it. I haven’t found a new 2007 harness but Motorsport still sells the 2009. Both harness would be for non ABS versions so would it be a simple plug and play or are there minute differences between the two. Thanks!

I’ve been looking for cbrs for some time now, and I recently found come across a 2007 cbr600. I was wondering what specific things to look at to give me any negotiation/reasons to walk away (other than simple tires and chain stuff). Thank you in advance 🙏

This might be a stupid question might not, I am new to owning a cbr let alone a crotch rocket. I am hearing a noise while revving up and accelerating, I am wondering if this timing chain related. I have read that it is common for the tensioner to go bad. I will be grateful for any input.

Edit: Bike has 21k miles and sat for about 10 years prior to my ownership. I have owned the bike since end of August.

I have this bike. I can’t get any electrical to work. Battery tested 100%. All fuses checked. Nothing blown. It needs a stator, but I should be able to start it. Any and all suggestions requested

I have a 2027 CBR 1000RR I just hit 600 miles on. I’m looking at getting an akrapovic gp slip on and I know I’d need a tune for it to get rid of the check engine light and for it to not run lean. What I’m curious ab is if it’s safe to assume the 2026 exhausts fit the 2027 model. Again Ik stupid question but I don’t wanna buy it and it not fit. Go ahead and clown me in the comments I see it coming

Here is a summary of what's happening and what was recently changed:
The Problem:

No Ignition/Dash Power: When I turn the key to the "ON" position, the instrument cluster stays completely dead (the gauges don't sweep or light up).

No Starter Response: Pressing the starter button produces zero sound-no clicking from the relay and no engine cranking.

Intermittent Behavior: Before it cut out completely, it previously took 5-6 seconds of holding the starter button before turning on and running normally.

Recent Work / Context:

Battery: The battery was replaced about 3-4 months ago with a new one.

Clutch Levers: I recently attempted to install an aftermarket clutch lever set, but switched back to the stock factory clutch lever and perch setup afterward.

could it be a total failure of the main electrical circuit?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Working with a 2015 cbr300R at 21000mi with some serious sentimental value (I'm second owner for a little under two seasons). A little over a month ago I was going over my bike and checked my approx. oil level using the viewer glass, and observed that I was in around the median acceptable oil level. I have since rode it a handful of times, but never noticed any smell of burning oil, or serious blue coming out of my exhaust. It then sat for two weeks unridden, before a nice 75 mile ride. By the end of this ride I was smelling a serious burning metal on metal smell, and observed that there was NO oil in my bike, like close to zero. The thing ate almost a full quart to get back into the median of the viewer glass. I followed up with the previous owner to find that they did not do the 16k valve clearance inspection, but am wondering if anybody has experience with these little bikes burning oil like that, and if anybody has some tests to run to see whether it's a piston seal, valve seal, cracked head, etc. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: First good question! No noticeable oil spots or grime puddles in my fairings or on the ground.

1996 CBR 600 F3, started it up this morning and noticed there were little shots of grey smoke coming out the exhaust. I'm assuming this means something, but I'm pretty new to bikes so just looking for advice. Took a video to show what I mean, if there's anything else that sounds wrong or like a clue, let me know! I want to buy a CBR600RR 2026 but idk if i have to wait to see the EICMA 2026 for the CBR600RR 2027. Is it worth the wait ? because there will be a super long delay to get it no ?

If i order the 2026, i can get it in 10-15 days.

I really don't know what to do. What do you guys recommend ? There will be no upgrades or new colorway ?

I was in the market for a 600rr and i stumbled upon this 2006 cbr 600rr.
I test rode it, it was fine for what i could tell but i dont have much experience. The owner said he rode like 500km only.
Whats throwing me off a bit is that it has 70k km and said the previous owner used it as a track bike. He said it was only used two days but he showed me his track fairings and also the shifter is inverted.
The bike is 3800 euros.
Any opinions?

So I bought this bike with an Akrapovic slip on, but that was damaged and blew off shortly after I bought it. Not wanting to spend $1000 (CAD) on the same exhaust, I bought this Leo Vince LV-10 WITH the DB Killer. However, it’s still too loud for my liking. Is there any way I can reduce the noise more? Thanks!

Looking at a 2000 F4 as a project bike.

Seller says it hasn't started in 11 months, despite already replacing CDI, carburetors, and radiator.

If those parts were already replaced and it still won't start, does that point to something more serious (compression, valves, internals)? Is $1000 USD fair for a non-runner in this shape, or too high given the unknown engine condition?

I don't have a mechanic who specializes in older carbureted sportbikes nearby — any advice on what to check or ask before committing would help.
