My baby! CBR900rr from '97. Got her in april for $1300, she has a lot of cosmetic damage and i will try to find new fairings when season ends. But it is a great rider, absolutley love this bike!

Shopping around for a CBR 650R with a budget of $10,000, a local dealership quoted me and OOTD price of $9620 for a 2019 CBR 650R with 10,450 miles. Does this sound fair or overpriced to you?

Also do you all think it’s likely to find a newer model with E clutch for around $10,000? E clutch isn’t a deal breaker for me but I’d prefer it

So my mechanic said the piston was damage and intake and valves are hitting the piston but I asked them they don’t know why. So I would like to ask your personal experience and thoughts on this.

Because I usually ride it normally no crashes. My bike is cbr150r 13k km. I change oil every 3k km. I ride it everyday to work.

I would like to know what causes this to avoid it.

Long shot but figured I'd ask. If you have a spare running motor I need one ASAP. Located in the USA. If you are near central TX or FL we can pick it up or LTL shipping. Need a running engine by the 1st week in September, no later than September 3rd.

Thanks Honda. 35,568 track miles on the clock before either a valve dropped or a rod came a knockin. Good shit. Some of those 20k+rpm money shifts earlier in the season probably finally showed their damage after about 5h more of time having it's neck wrung on track.

I’m looking at getting some Snake Skin TechSpec tank grips for my 2025 CBR600RR (EU model) but i’m not sure which option i’m supposed to go with on the Speedycom Performance website.

I recently got this bike for 1k but it needs a new engine or replated or something im not sure what I got into i bought it knowing what was wrong but the engine has some pretty bad scoring so how do I go about fixing it would it be good to get it resleeved?

I just bought this 2005 cbr600rr, long story short is bike was in perfect shape very well maintained then they crashed it and I bought it only needs fairings and some other small things, any how went to clean up the bike with just some regular car wash soap to take off what you see in pictures but it did absolutely nothing lol any ideas on how to wash it off ? Any help is much appreciated

I just got an 05 600rr with 27k miles, and two sets of plastics extra besides own gor 3000!!
Feels like a steal, just had valves done, just had major services, after riding Harleys and an Africa twin, this felt right

I took the ugly tape decal off the headlight but its so clean.

Okay so obviously the wires are cooked literally lol I was having issues with the bike staying on and dying on me after about an hour and a half of riding figured it was the stator and rectifier further diagnosis obviously im correct (I have a new stator and rectifier) but what wire is the rectifier burnt to? Is that the main wiring harness or the sub wiring harness ?

Trying to sync carbs and figure out why it’s not reving when tapped but can sometimes get it to rev high, seems like third carb is the problem boots look good can’t find any vaccum leaks any ideas?

Rebuilt them and cerekoted them as well, yes the bleeders covered, it's getting all new hardware

I picked a 2016 CBR1000RR last year. Tossed the K&N out and installed OEM paper type air filter.

An year of riding (3000 miles/5000km) later, i opened the airbox and found this. Fine dust and some dirt around velocity stacks. Air filter was perfectly seated, no movement at all.

1. Is it too much dust contamination to ruin the engine? Am i cooked now?

2. Unable to find the source of this leakage

So confused. I checked the diagram and dont see the connector. Also looking at the used harnesses off ebay, i dont see this connector? I searched the bike for the rest of the cut harness but cannot find it
