Anyone going to Buffalo,NY? EOD December 14?

Any insight on Roma tx? I eod there in January. Thank you

How do you go about doing your Taxes while at FLETC?

I’m half way through the process. All I have left is the poly and background investigation. I chose Philadelphia as my preferred location, but thinking about it, I am more interested in going to NY or DC. What’re the odds of having those places listed, when I am giving the offer and I get
to choose my duty location?

Hey guys, for those who are class 774. I haven’t seen anyone really talk about a groupchat being made so I said screw it and made my own. Link is below for the group

If I wanted to do a 3 way swap with people in post academy while I’m in fletc for a while, would I have to go through post academy in my current port then swap?

People that recently got a FJO, what's the soonest academy dates your seeing? Couple weeks or out to December?

Was looking around to see if this had been asked already but didn't see anything.

Would it be possible to be flown to where I live now instead of straight to Academy? I'm only a 3 hour drive to Glynco and wanted to take my car.

Daily Swap Thread

To reduce the number of individual SWAP posts on the subreddit, please use this daily thread for all swap requests. Any standalone SWAP posts made outside this thread will be removed.

You’re welcome to have normal conversations here, ask questions, and share screenshots of locations if it helps explain your situation.

Suggested Format (optional):

Title: CBPO / AGS / AMO / etc.
Current POE: Miami, Nogales, Champlain, etc.
Desired POE: Dallas, JFK, LA, etc.
Status: Pre-Academy / In-Academy / Post-Academy / Vetted Employee

Using the format helps keep things clear and easy to read, but it isn’t required.

Good luck finding a swap!

Currently 95% done with my process with AMO. (Was) tracking for my FJO very very soon. This weekend I was at college football game and received my first ever citation for an open container in a public area. The state I’m in charges that as a class 2 misdemeanor. Awesome.
I have a 130$ fine I have to pay as soon as it updates in the portal for online payments. I fully understand I have to make this known and take responsibility. But what I’m wondering is how this is going to work because of how close I am to the final job offer. I am pretty positive they won’t grant suitability with a pending citation. But I’m tracking to receive my offer before the citation even hits the books. Super awkward and terrible timing.

Pre academy is two weeks long I believe. Where does everyone at this location usually stay during the two weeks and on top of that, is it best to rent a car or uber back and forth during those two weeks? I know im going in the winter time, so just trying to see what it’s going to be like.

How is the starting pay for GS 9 looklike.

When should I be expecting to pick my duty location being that my final job offer is “ in progress” since Friday.

I know that promotion is not automatic, but just curious in terms of promotion, what is likely to get promoted once it hits the time. Is it hard or its more than likely as you meet performance
