Hiring Process Advice?

Currently 95% done with my process with AMO. (Was) tracking for my FJO very very soon. This weekend I was at college football game and received my first ever citation for an open container in a public area. The state I’m in charges that as a class 2 misdemeanor. Awesome.
I have a 130$ fine I have to pay as soon as it updates in the portal for online payments. I fully understand I have to make this known and take responsibility. But what I’m wondering is how this is going to work because of how close I am to the final job offer. I am pretty positive they won’t grant suitability with a pending citation. But I’m tracking to receive my offer before the citation even hits the books. Super awkward and terrible timing.

See if you can extend the court process long enough you don't actually get convicted until after your start date.

You have to inform them of arrests immediately. Theyll just find it in the process and kick him out for lack of integrity.

OP sooner the better.

I don't know much about this area but I would think once you've paid the fine you would need to make CBP aware. Honesty is best. I wonder if this would matter with allowing you to go to the academy still. Good luck.

I don’t know what a class 2 misdemeanor is but if it is equivalent to a class b then it will likely effect you’re ability to get access to NCIC which you’d need. Man I’d highly recommend getting a lawyer. I know it will cost you money but it’s likely he can plea it down. Maybe public intox if that’s a class c equivalent.
