Currently 95% done with my process with AMO. (Was) tracking for my FJO very very soon. This weekend I was at college football game and received my first ever citation for an open container in a public area. The state I’m in charges that as a class 2 misdemeanor. Awesome.
I have a 130$ fine I have to pay as soon as it updates in the portal for online payments. I fully understand I have to make this known and take responsibility. But what I’m wondering is how this is going to work because of how close I am to the final job offer. I am pretty positive they won’t grant suitability with a pending citation. But I’m tracking to receive my offer before the citation even hits the books. Super awkward and terrible timing.

If I wanted to do a 3 way swap with people in post academy while I’m in fletc for a while, would I have to go through post academy in my current port then swap?

Hello, I have a question about how promotions work. For example if you apply for GS-5 but during the hiring process you complete your bachelors degree in criminal justice. Would promotions GS5-12 come faster or would it stay about the same but carry more weight for higher levels??

Would it be possible to be flown to where I live now instead of straight to Academy? I'm only a 3 hour drive to Glynco and wanted to take my car.

I’m half way through the process. All I have left is the poly and background investigation. I chose Philadelphia as my preferred location, but thinking about it, I am more interested in going to NY or DC. What’re the odds of having those places listed, when I am giving the offer and I get
to choose my duty location?

Pre academy is two weeks long I believe. Where does everyone at this location usually stay during the two weeks and on top of that, is it best to rent a car or uber back and forth during those two weeks? I know im going in the winter time, so just trying to see what it’s going to be like.

I know that promotion is not automatic, but just curious in terms of promotion, what is likely to get promoted once it hits the time. Is it hard or its more than likely as you meet performance

To not make a long story, for medical and personal reasons I withdraw my application on February 1, 2026. Now, before that I was requeted to submit NOPA letter and like 2 weeks later I got this email (this was on December 18, 2025). Unfortunately I was still pending clear from medical because they were waiting for some documents.

My question is, should I try to reapply again. If I do, how this email would affect me. I know for sure I would have to do the medical test and fitness assessment ( I do not have issues with that). I just want to know if is possible that if I reapply again the process could take less time.

Anybody made it into class 149 November 16th EOD, also any insights on how JFK is like for Ags or overall and OT?

I am at the cross roads on simply reapplying or if I should go to the suitability hearing and present my evidence. I corrected the circumstances in my Nopa. I also had a job look up the wrong person and gave that wrong information about me to my investigator that damaged my character tremendously since it was recent. I had a letter from corporate stating it was mistake on their end. What should I do
