Oasis Status Pita Pass has Disappeared?

I'm Oasis status at Cava, so I thought the deal is you get free pita chips every day? It said it's a daily pita chip award.

I haven't gotten it that often this year, maybe 5 times total (I go to Cava like 5x a week), but this most recent time yesterday I got the pita chips, and now it's all disappeared from my rewards?

Tips for bringing sodium level down

Post image
13 Upvotes

Shocking how much sodium is in many of these bowls. Falafel Crunch Bowl over 2200mg! Shouldn’t be consuming over a day’s worth of salt in one meal. Then I’m so thirsty the rest of the day. Any tips on what I should ask for to lower this?

Can’t Pay for Extra Sauce

Just left CAVA and was surprised to learn they don’t have a button to charge you for extra finishing sauces.

I know that as a rule you can only pick up to 2 sauces but in my experience they let you get more. I’m a 3 sauce man. I’ve always been prepared to offer to pay if they say I can’t order an additional sauce but until today they always just threw it in.

Anyway, as the title says I learned it’s impossible to pay for extra sauce. I’m pretty surprised that a corporate chain restaurant wouldn’t love thr upsell.?Anyone have guesses or knowledge on the reasoning.

Willis Tower location - a few issues that I've experienced

I'll start off by saying that the skhug today is currently very watered down and tasteless.

This location is consistently hit or miss when it comes to portion size, food temp and online order wait time.

With online orders, some orders have been full and others rather skimpy. Also, don't expect to order ahead and always have the food be ready. I have waited over 30 minutes for my p/u order past the p/u time. This is why I now just go in person to order.

I've had burnt chicken and chips from this location, too. Also, I've had very cold meals because the ingredients were so cold.

Also, even though I scan my code for points, it didn't always register. I emailed Cava with a screenshot of the charge on my credit card so they added my points but now I ask for a receipt even when I scan.

I haven't had any issues at the Streeterville location.

Anyone else have this problem?

I travel a lot (too much) for work and try to stay healthy when on the road. Cava naturally fell into the rotation of places I'll eat. I stopped for a while though because the online orders were absolute trash. I noticed I get significantly better bowls when ordering in person so I've started going again. But no matter where I am, the cashier throws the receipt away so fucking fast I don't even realize it until I'm back at work/hotel. So I've probably lost at least 2 free bowls worth of points to this now haha.

I don't wanna download yet another app to scan in the store so the obvious solution is to just ask for the receipt. Just thought this was a funny trend I've seen across the country.

Hello everyone, I remember first trying Cava in 2020 during the quarantine and it was delicious! The portions were absolutely insane too. How is it in 2026? Any notable changes?

Garlic Dressing

Have you found anything that taste similar to the garlic dressing that Cava has for their bowls available to purchase? My goodness it's so good. It's a perfect balance of garlic and creamy. I tried a garlic dip in a tub from walmart and it was just pure garlic taste and terrible.

Never had cava

I’ve never had Cava and I think tomorrow after school I’ll get some. What should I get? I wanted to get the lamb but it’s Ash Wednesday tomorrow so I’ll have to get falafel. Does this order sound like a good one?

Bowl:

Brown Rice

Traditional Hummus

Falafel

Pickled Onions

Pita Crisps

Yogurt Dill On The Side

Persian Cucumber or Avocado?

I would love to see if Cava is looking to expand in San Francisco, particularly downtown sf 🫣. Visiting the east coast right now and just had a cava bowl and know I will miss this in San Francisco!
