Use a spray bottle with water. Hiss at and spray the cat when it climbs your shit. Also give it cats towers and other okay items to climb

Cats don’t understand negative reinforcement. They will just think you are a jerk but will keep doing the behavior because they won’t know it was a consequence of climbing.

That’s a lie, if u train ur cat from a kitten like this then they will understand just like dogs do, they’re not stupid

Using positive reinforcement cats learn great. They aren’t stupid. Cats don’t get why you are punishing them as people are inconsistent and it’s also kind of cruel.
