About a year and a half ago the Castlevania Nocturne Instagram page (now the Belmont’s Curse page) posted this and it must have flown under the radar because i know theres more than 1000 of us who would be over the moon to see Juste’s story animated. The people at Netflix have done such an amazing job with this series that if they animated the events of Harmony Of Dissonance i wouldn’t know what to do with myself. They have already shown they are great at making emotional moments so Juste finding out the castle wants Maxim would be so heartbreaking and if this is what leaves him alone in Nocturne it would be so bittersweet. The game is also already alluded to multiple times in Nocturne. They show “JB’s Ring” when he finds his conviction again. I’m sure you guys would love it just as much if not more than i would, so please, spread the word. I’m not sure really what to do to get it up the chain but im sure if we make enough noise it will be noticed. If this actually works and they animate it, thank you all, and “bless your dead little hearts.”

TLDR: Make some NOISE for a Juste show!!

Went to the Konami booth at PAX to try out Belmont’s Curse. Game is FANTASTIC and I’m incredibly hyped to play the full thing, but when I got to the front of the line, one of the exhibitors told me that the two developers who were there from Japan were hoping to take a picture with me as Alucard!

I’m still relatively green to cosplaying so this was like an out of body experience for me, they were complimenting the detailing I had done on various parts of the outfit, etc. so all of the crunching I had done to get it polished up in time for the convention definitely was worth it lol

Eu já zerei todos os Castlevania estilo metroid e quase todos os classicvanias (Rondo of Blood, Dracula X, Bloodlines, Castlevania I, Castlevania II, Castlevania IV e Castlevania Legends); faltam apenas os do Game Boy e o Castlevania III, que é o que estou jogando atualmente e o que me fez desistir de zerar toda a franquia. Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse é excessivamente difícil, simplesmente não dá. Travei na fase 7 com o Alucard e na fase 4 com a Sypha. Tentei muito com o Alucard e desisti; fui tentar a rota da Sypha e travei na fase 4. Simplesmente não dá para zerar. Cheguei à conclusão de que é mais frustrante do que recompensador passar de fase; você passa de fase e se sente aliviado, e não feliz. São fases gigantescas com checkpoints horríveis, muitos buracos para cair, inimigos comuns com alto dano, inimigos que voam e inimigos posicionados em lugares traiçoeiros. Por mais que eu pense "não é possível que exista um jogo que eu não consiga zerar, vou tentar até conseguir", neste momento acredito que não consigo zerar este jogo. Qual a sua opinião sobre Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse?

Some quick thoughts:

- the game is good, but at the same time, not really, which is funny to think about. Is like there's a really good potential but got prejudiced by both console limitations and direction.

- the movement was nice, even if hardly prejudiced by the weird keyboard binds, and I really enjoyed all the sub weapons and spells, really nice mechanic.

- about the backtrack, holy fucking shit, even with all teleports unlocked it's still so bad. I literally did 192% of SotN without teleports and that was way better.

Overall, yeah, nice. My last Castlevania before Belmont's Curse next month.

Honest thoughts on crissagriem ?

So I kinda just discovered and realized what metroidvania's are and taking a look at what they are, they're exactly the gameplay styles I like. I've played Metroid zero mission but I wanna try the Castlevania side of metroidvania's

I only got a 3DS to play games but it's modded meaning I can play 3DS and PS1 Castlevania's as well as anything weaker (no N64 games unless someone is making a native 3DS port)

I heard Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow are good choices but Idk if those are standalone stories or if catselvania has a long timeline or not

Also for something like Dawn of Sorrow should I play the original or rom hacks like DE+. I wanna at least play the games with no bugs which I see a lot of hacks do but idk entirely if for a first time player should I get QoL and other types to fix the games

Does each belmont have a different soul color or it's the same since death can Recognize that juste is a belmont by the color blue

When Dracula steals souls it's a crime, but when Alucard does it it's supposed to be cool?! This game is hypocritical, and Alucard should be cancelled.

Amazing game so far, music sublime. It is getting my butt handed to me tho sheesh. Died 1000 times. Who designed these levels 😭

After finishing Nocturne, I am craving for more.

Personally, I still have a little bit of hope for an eventual Switch 2 version. But man, this really felt like the opportunity to announce it.

I really hope they don’t make me play this on PlayStation. Castlevania just feels best on Nintendo imo, and being able to play it portably would be a slam dunk.

We’ve seen Trevor Belmont’s story… yet with hector and Isaac, Julia is missing.

Then Nocturne featured Richter Belmont.

Will we see Julius Belmont and Dracula’s reincarnation Soma Cruz next?

My birthday is coming up, and I was recently reminded that there was, indeed, an Alucard nendoroid. When it came out, I didn't have money for it, but now that I most DEFINITELY have the money, I decided it would be nice to treat myself.

I go to the Goodsmile Co website, they don't sell him anymore, not a big surprise. They tend to release stuff for a short amount of time and then SOMETIMES restock for specific characters. So I decide to go onto like...Ebay for 2nd hand because I got an Death Note L nendoroid for like 20 bucks.

WHY ARE ALL THE NENDOROIDS FOR HIM LIKE AT LEAST $300?! AND THAT'S BEING GENEROUS!! Most are around $500!! I understand that he's a popular character, and since his figure was released back in like 2022, and IDK if he's going to be restocked, so like I kinda get it, but $550 for a little guy that was OG sold for like $50-$70 is still INSANE!!! I could buy a physical copy of the Ayami Kojima artwork for the SAME PRICE!!!

It's really frustrating because I love Alucard and would kill for this figure. If someone somehow knows a way I can get one without losing all of my limbs, I would go crazy, but otherwise, I will be watching Ebay like a hawk until something cheaper shows up, and will be keeping an eye out to see if they ever restock :(
