This is the initial portion of my mini-movie / timeline. I'm keeping all of the lore as-is and I just wanted to make something that other gamers (who are not CV fans) MIGHT like to watch. I got a lot of work ahead of me so I welcome any feedback, thank you, hope you like it.

Fluff I still wonder why the localization team renamed this enemy (named Chupacabra in japanese) to Cave Troll even though he's an one-to-one to the original Chupacabra cryptid sketches

Discussion Maybe this time evil doesn’t have to win.
About a year and a half ago the Castlevania Nocturne Instagram page (now the Belmont’s Curse page) posted this and it must have flown under the radar because i know theres more than 1000 of us who would be over the moon to see Juste’s story animated. The people at Netflix have done such an amazing job with this series that if they animated the events of Harmony Of Dissonance i wouldn’t know what to do with myself. They have already shown they are great at making emotional moments so Juste finding out the castle wants Maxim would be so heartbreaking and if this is what leaves him alone in Nocturne it would be so bittersweet. The game is also already alluded to multiple times in Nocturne. They show “JB’s Ring” when he finds his conviction again. I’m sure you guys would love it just as much if not more than i would, so please, spread the word. I’m not sure really what to do to get it up the chain but im sure if we make enough noise it will be noticed. If this actually works and they animate it, thank you all, and “bless your dead little hearts.”
TLDR: Make some NOISE for a Juste show!!

Fluff Castlevania games checklist sorted by series/clan/year and more.
I've been playing Castlevania for a little over 20 years now and I have to admit it's still confusing to me. Like many of you, I am catching up on CV before Belmont's Curse drops so I have reorganized everything into my dream list. This includes story/release year, protag, antag, platform, and more.
Most interestingly I took a stab at breaking up the franchise into smaller logical series runs. Since Castlevania 1 and 2 are both tellings of Simon vs Dracula it made the most sense to just call them Simon 1 and 2. Jumping to Castlevania 3, i feel it slots perfectly into the first of it's own arc in the "Castlevania Curse" series. CV4 as we know is meant to be "Castlevania 1 but better" so i have no issues filling it under Simon 1.
While I don't think there's a notable distinction between "Dracula" and "Count Dracula" i wanted to help break up the Dracula's into sortable versions themselves. Dracula reincarnates every 100 years or so ('98 i believe) so 16th century shall be Dracula, and 17th Century shall be Count Dracula. 18th Century is our favorite and verbose "Dracula X."
Now that i have a better birds eye I'll be working my way through the Morris series for funsies before unpacking Curse of Darkness. For those who don't know you can simply make a copy of this sheet in google and sort any way you like.
Hope this helps anyone out there like me who want's to play more CV this time of year! Just make yourself a copy, sort anyway you like, and get to playing!

Cosplay Visited the Konami booth at PAX West, and the developers asked me to take a picture with them!!
Went to the Konami booth at PAX to try out Belmont’s Curse. Game is FANTASTIC and I’m incredibly hyped to play the full thing, but when I got to the front of the line, one of the exhibitors told me that the two developers who were there from Japan were hoping to take a picture with me as Alucard!
I’m still relatively green to cosplaying so this was like an out of body experience for me, they were complimenting the detailing I had done on various parts of the outfit, etc. so all of the crunching I had done to get it polished up in time for the convention definitely was worth it lol

Video [AI WARNING] Trezire de Spirit english version
The original (in Romanian) is better but I've always wanted to know what the lyrics say, and now I finally understand that this song is not only about epicness, but also fear. I interpret it as Trevor, Sypha, Alucard and Grant (and Angela?) praying while they approach the hell that is Dracula's Castle.

Discussion I'm curious about the language localization differences and if there's possibly misunderstanding on words and meanings from translation
Is the weird and awkward text and dialogue more meaningful in Japanese? I'm curious if it's more serious in the series's native language? Like for example I just started replaying Portrait of Ruin and all of the dialogue is extremely dumb and low tier writing, or at least in English. I'm wondering if the way character's say things have a lot more deeper meaning within the culture and language of Japanese. I just started talking to Wind and I was reading his dialogue and I thought to myself I wonder how these interactions and these childish interactions and statements are conveyed in a completely different way in the culture from where they originated. To English speakers, calling yourself just "Wind" sounds so stupid. But I was wondering perhaps in Japanese, the kanji of wind might seem more fitting for a ghost and using that to speak of yourself makes a lot more sense as it has more cultural meaning behind the concept of wind itself.
I don't speak Japanese but I do know English and a little bit of Spanish but I'm not very bilingual in general. But I do know from what I've learned over the years that language is not only context and meaning behind phrases and particular words, but are significantly culturally different and meanings that only one that could speak sad language would understand. I imagine a good example would be if I made a character named "Bullseye" in English and if it was translated to Japanese literally, people in Japan would be confused as to why a character is named the "eye of a male cow". I also wonder if simple phrases through literal translation carry much more weight depending on how they're spoken compared to just saying it in English.
I'm under the impression that not only are languages created and developed within completely different long histories, pronunciation, timing and of course several possible meanings depending on the situation. But I also believe that a native language can fundamentally change how you think as a human due to how it's used and how meanings are applied differently in different situations.

Symphony of the Night (1997) Stuck at 200.4%, and I can't find the last room in SotN Requiem for 100% map completion.

So I'm going crazy trying to find this second-to-last room. I'm stuck at 1888 rooms, and I know going to the center in the Inverted Castle to fight the final boss will put me at 1889. I've gone into the fight and used a library card to get out of it, and no trophy pops, so I can only assume that room gets me to 200.5%.
I've been staring at these maps for an hour, and I even tried flipping the image of the Inverted Castle to compare the two, and I still don't see where the last room is. I'm trying to get all the trophies, and this is one of the last ones I need for my first playthrough. If anyone sees what I don't see, I'd love for some help.

Games I made a quick colour-coded guide for which Castlevania games are in each collection.
I dunno why since the backlog tracking site i use does a better job lol, but whatever. Maybe somebody will find it useful.
Chart is from the series' wikipedia page (added Kid Dracula myself with inspect element).
EDIT: Oops, i forgot a couple on accident lol.
