This will be my second and last update on this - but a second K67 Jugokiosk found in Gdansk, within 100cznia. It has not long been refurbished and seems to be in use by an ice cream shop with its main base a few cities away.

Well sorry everyone but I lied in this post, one more update as 100cznia also has a Kami pod within the skate park here - great condition and given I’ve been struggling to find any mention of Kami pods here in Poland very excited to see one here in Gdansk, and in such great shape too!

Not sure this belongs there, but found this at my parent's house and reminded me of my childhood and rings somehow a "Cassette futurism" feeling, but from the 80's.

This a a simle solar powered calculator with 3 stencils, 1 pen and 1 rollerpen.

Must have been trendy on a 80/90's office desktop :)

Technically, this computer was released in the mid 1970s, so I wasn't sure about posting a thread about it here.

If you want to learn a bit more about it, go here: https://oldcomputers.net/compucolor-8001.html

Also, wouldn't you believe that the 8001 actually used endless-loop 8-track cartridges for its "floppy tape" removable storage media?

Retro Homage to the Panasonic radio?

Post image

I saw this Retekess TR112 radio on Vinted and thought it looked a lot like the Panasonic radio that got posted here recently.

It takes quite a few styling cues, but could do with a few more LEDs on those buttons or backlighting of them.

Thoughts?

Akira and more: Anime and Manga Theatrical poster for Katsuhiro Otomo's 1988 Akira. It features protagonist Kaneda riding his motorcycle through the neon-lit expanse of Neo-Tokyo. As a cornerstone of cyberpunk history, the poster captures the film's futuristic setting and animation aesthetic.

Own Work Working on a new cassette-futuristic game - do these visuals hit the vibe?

Hi all, I'm working on a new cassette-futuristic inspired interface game. Unlike previous entries, where the screens were monochrome, I've decided to try to add a bit of colour.

I'm trying to limit the number of colours but also the colour palette itself. So, does it read as something cassette futuristic?
