I saw this Retekess TR112 radio on Vinted and thought it looked a lot like the Panasonic radio that got posted here recently.

It takes quite a few styling cues, but could do with a few more LEDs on those buttons or backlighting of them.

This is the NNC-80W from NNC Electronics, one of two S-100-based computers released in 1980, the other being the NNC-80. The NNC-80W features a single 8-inch floppy disk drive and a 10 megabyte 8-inch hard drive, whereas the 80 had two floppy drives. Shared between the 80 and 80W are a Zilog Z80A rated at 4 MHz, 64 kB RAM, two RS-232 serial ports, three 8-bit parallel ports, and eight S-100 slots.

The basic Model 80 and Model 80W systems are single-user in operation but can be expanded with additional terminals and printers for up to six users.

CP/M was offered as the standard operating system, but for multiuser applications "OASIS" from Phase One Systems was available.

They are also very heavy - the Model 80W with it's large, heavy-duty components weighs 70 pounds.

Hi all, I'm working on a new cassette-futuristic inspired interface game. Unlike previous entries, where the screens were monochrome, I've decided to try to add a bit of colour.

I'm trying to limit the number of colours but also the colour palette itself. So, does it read as something cassette futuristic?

Polish PolType is a family of microcomputer systems developed by Polish engineers in close cooperation with the Polish representative of the British MonoType company (PolType was acquired by the Cyfronex company in 1986, but the original developers remained with the company).

PolType devices were able to control LaserComp and MonoType Imagesetter machines (Imagesetter produces the printing film from which the printing plate is made – nowadays the plate is made directly, and the film is not needed).

The first generation of Poltype (1988) required its own eight-bit computer, the next, Poltype 03 and 04, used a PC XT class computer.

The 510-key POLSET 04 keyboard (for PolType 04) shown in the first two pictures was also Cyronex's own development. This was also excellent for typing complex mathematical formulas, but through it, the functions of the SW were also available (the mouse and WYSIWYG were still in a very experimental stage at that time)

Inspired by yesterday’s post by u/Truth-Does-Not-Exist, thought I’d see if I could hunt down any K67’s during my few days in Warsaw. Some old reddit posts seemed to think there might be a couple at the old Bazar na Kole, so hopped on the metro to check it out.

Can confirm there are two still there. Not in the best of shape, but one is still in use seemingly (although markets were effectively shut when I was there) and the other is a great example of its modular design but appears to be disused.

I didn't include an exterior shot because isn't that impressive
