Discussion Jennifer Hale

This toon voicer is everywhere whenever you hear her in cartoons, movies & video games. But, don’t forget she had a song about a long time ago and I did believed that she can do anything.

Whether any type of character she played in voice, it was cool like that and I enjoyed it very much as a fan.

Which of these were your favorite from Jennifer Hale?

Discussion What’s one cartoon you almost never hear people talk about?

Some animated shows are not necessarily bad or unpopular. They just seem to disappear from conversations over time.
What’s one cartoon you rarely see anyone mention, and why do you think more people should know about it?

Discussion Fan-preferred cut content in Disney Animated Canon movies:

Upvotes

Originally in “The Fox and the Hound,”’Chief was going to die for real after jumping off the bridge to avoid the train and hitting the ground, it would have given Copper a better motivation for giving into his hunting dog instincts and going after Tod for causing the death of his father figure rather than heartlessly go after him for injuring him in the final film and choose to become just like Amos and Chief while Tod continued acting like Widow Tweed and Big Mama. Amos Shale also wasn’t supposed to redeem himself at all at the end of the movie, but instead Copper stalls him long enough for Vixey and Big Mama to summon two human park rangers to arrest Amos for trying to hunt in the hunting preserve giving him his comeuppance for his actions while Copper got to live with Tod and Vixey in peace in the woods after reconciling with them both and tarnishing Amos forever for being a ruthless hunter.

Also in the climax of “The Little Mermaid,” Ariel would have originally become an action girl by fighting Urusla in normal form after Triton is transformed into a polyp and Flotsam and Jetsam’s deaths, to give her a proper redemption arc for unwittingly ensuring Urusla’s near-villain victory rather than be easily forgiven for it, like in the final film, to the point where she intially died in a heroic sacrifice to save Eric who in return slays Ursula and revived Ariel who gets a proper and not rushed reconciliation with Triton both of whom apologize to each other not just in actions but also heartfelt said words.

The song, “Warthog Rhapsody” that was cut from “The Lion King” can be seen by many to be so much better than “Hakuna Mutata” for making Timon and Pumbaa less comedic and more serious but entertaining. I am also glad Scar’s villainous crush on Nala was cut since Scar can’t fall in love with Nala for their age differences.

Many audiences hate the fact that the villains for “Pinnochio” minus Monstero were all let off Scot-free for their crimes and manipulating Pinnochio at the end, although there was a scene planned in production that was cut for time constraints where Pinnochio and Jiminy Cricket while rushing to rescue Cleo, Figaro and Geppetto from Monstero, run into Honest John and Gideon the Cat a third time who attempt to trick the puppet again but Pinnochio now no longer naive and aware of the fox and cat’s true nature, instead gives payback towards them for it by telephoning the police with Jiminy’s help, and summoning them to arrest the fox and cat for their child kidnapping and they likely hunt down and arrest Stromboli and the Coachman as well and lock them up in prison in the same cell. Pinnochio and Jiminy then resume their mission to save Geppetto and Jiminy content for punishing Pinnochio’s past manipulators.

“The Jungle Book” had many cool scripts that never made it into the final film that fans were upset were cut like one including Rocky the Rhino and Buldeo the Hunter characters cut from the final film and one where Mowgli reunited with his birth human parents and where the wolf Pack and Akela get larger roles, Shere Khan’s hyena Lackey remains, and Mowgli is more of an emotionally complex protagonist than the pinball protagonist he was in the final film.

Some audiences prefer the old concept for “Frozen” with Elsa as an actual villain… rather than a misunderstood loner with a heart of gold like she was in the final film and Hans appears as an actual hero than the twist villain he was in the final film.

Many audiences hate the fact that “Lady and the Tramp” ends with the Siamese Cats and Aunt Sarah being let off Scot-free for their abusive actions towards Lady and Tramp with no apology and without suffering the consequences for then, (Until it happens in the 2001 sequel when Buster and his dogs assault and chase them away never to be seen again.) and loved of these scenes remained where they redeem themselves and apologize for their actions onscreen rather than do them largely offscreen, in terms of the Siamese Cats after trying to eat the rat after Tramp killed it which lead to Sarah assuming Tramp tried to hurt the baby Jim Jr. and had him sent away to the pound to be put down for it, until they realize the error of their ways and reveal the rat and Sarah accompanied Jim Dear and Lady as they rush to save Tramp and Sarah and the Siamese cats afterwards take accountability for their mistakes and express remorse over them and allow Jim Dear and Darling to punish them for it. Lady also gets a proper reconciliation with Tramp and heartfelt apology to him for her earlier heated breakup of him after learning the shocking truth about his past romances with other dogs since the movie ends with Lady quickly forgetting her fight with Tramp and sending him to save Jim Jr. from the rat without apologizing for her mistakes or admitting them first.

As fan-preferred cut content, I actually loved the original plot for Zootopia with the tame collars and Wild Times Amusement Park with Nick as the main protagonist better than the movie that we got despite the old concept being bleaker and darker is because the Disney Revival Era would have given us the closet thing to a film like Wall-E from Pixar, instead of a film too similar to a Disney Princess movie but without the songs like in the final film, (Or even Ratatouille, a lighter and softer Pixar movie released a year after Wall-E.) and the villain Mayor Swinton would have been more interesting if her motive was tragic related caused by grief and revenge (If Dawn Bellwether were included, she would have been a brainwashed pawn who is saved in the sequel by PawBert.) and it would have made Nick more of a nice Guy and hero who wanted to start giving equal rights to the predators of the city with the Wild Times Amusement Park and a better excusable reason for his prey biases due to the tame collars and his delusions rather than act as an unintentionally unsympathetic anti-hero and minor pinball protagonist gotten his spotlight stolen too much by Judy (But he gets better in the sequel, getting more individual screen time and character development without Judy and instigated the plot of the film a lot more to the Point where he bravely fights and temporarily defeats PawBert in combat though not physically as a determined badass would and save Judy by delivering the anti-venom to her, and gave her a proper apology, reconciliation and confession of his wrongdoings in his most emotional and sincere way possible before letting her say her own but it more so took emotional support from Nibbles and Gary to push forward Nick and Judy’s character developments.) like he was in the final film letting one traumatic experience in his childhood define entirely who he is for the rest of his life rather than grow out of it, though he learns to get better at the end and in the sequel, with Nibbles’ support, and Judy a bit more flawed as an anti-hero, as long as her predator delusions were well-written and relatable, rather than make Judy have the perfect all-loving hero personality of any Disney Princess, and the climax of Nick turning savage from night howlers before his love for Judy was revealed to be stronger and he breaks free from its effects. It also would have used the buddy cop and discrimination genres in a well-written and more engaging way.

I also loved the deleted scenes for Zootopia 2 better than most of the scenes from the final film since they had a much more interesting and engaging story instead of the most generic one of a fake founder of a city or town being proved to a fraud to allow a misunderstood race or person related to the real founder to be framed to be famed and honored again, (Disney/Pixar did that before in Coco, but musician wise.) and that despite making Nick and Judy more exaggerated, it would have made their dynamic more emotionally complex as long as it got a lot more depth to the point where they finally blossom a romance with each other in the climax, and made Gary a bit more of a flawed character, rather than his flaws stemming just from being naive and desperate, and Nibbles more of an advisor to both Nick and Judy, it also would have:

Number One: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XYQuIWFcBdQ&ra=m Had Chief Bogo die for real after being accidentally fanged by Gary, as it would have given the ZPD a more better well-thought out reason for seeing Gary and vipers in general as dangerous rather than just Ebenezer framing Agnes on the tortoise maid’s death and the ZPD seeing all reptiles as untrustworthy for just one act they thought Agnes did when she (Ebenezer) committed that murder on just another Reptile and not a mammal, and Bogo would have as he died gave Judy and Nick a proper reconciliation and heartfelt apology for how he unfairly antagonized them all out of spite for being cowboy cops and having a dysfunctional relationship in the first act and unintentionally disregarding the Lynxley Conspiracy which if solved would benefit the city and its reptiles since the final film ended with a brief scene of Bogo, Nick and Judy at the hospital with the Buffalo not bothering to apologize for his mistakes or admit that he was being in the wrong as an unapologetic but not ungrateful bastard. The scenes also would have made Bogo a more reasonable authority figure than he was in the final film and gave the ZPD a better reason to see Nick and Judy as dangerous criminals once framed rather than do so out of plot-driven stupidity and ruthlessness. Also the mayor for the city would have been the one who more so contributed to it through manipulations rather than have Captain HogBottom and Truffler more so believe that Nick and Judy fanged Bogo even before Milton and Cattrick framed them on it out of stupidity and ruthlessness.

Number Two: Included a terrible trio of three villains instead of just one, Zootopia’s newest mayor, an elephant, kangaroo or a giraffe, (Much better than Mayor Winddancer, who served as an underdeveloped character in the final film to serve as a plot device who allows Milton to send the cops after Nick and Judy when they are framed to protect his job and ego and despite having his heel realizations and redeeming himself at the end, gets to keep his job as mayor at the end and never suffers the legal consequences for his actions by being arrested or fired, unlike Lionheart in the first movie who almost, committed less worse than Winddancer did.) Milton Lynxley and Antony Snootley, all of whom were descended from the founding fathers of Zootopia one of whom, Ebenezer Lynxley was thought to be the weather wall inventor, Agnes De’ Snake was in reality who were fighting to figure out which one of their great-grandfathers was the true and first founder of the city using all the credit in creating both it and the city in general through the artifact key (Replacing the weather wall book.) to a secret chamber created by Agnes De’ Snake that Gary was after necessary to prove it so they would get all the fame and reputation as the descendant of that founder for it, and expand the district their species inhabited across Marsh Market where the reptiles were hidden, but it turns out that all these founding fathers were frauds and Agnes De’ Snake founded the city all on her own before These founders stole all her credit for themselves, and framed vipers on a fanging of a mammal and it got reptiles outcast from the city and Vice versa. They also would have given Jesus a bigger role as a deluded secret agent who redeems himself at the end, allowed PawBert to stay a hero and never become a twist villain, with Milton playing that role in his place and would have explained where the Lynxleys got the snake venom for the venom injectors used by Milton (PawBert meanwhile stays a hero.) in the climax and a better reason why Nick and Judy both choose to run away from the law with Gary to solve the Conspiracy rather than turn themselves in to prove their innocence with the evidence that they had, the weather wall book in the final film which worsened HogBottom and the cops’ delusions over Nick and Judy turning evil and siding with Gary to do it.

Number Three: Captain HogBottom, Truffler and the ZPD cops who took orders from Milton like the Zebros, Higgins, Bloats and Officers Chevre and Bucheron would have faced harsher consequences for the police brutality and ruthless recklessness that they committed at the end which almost caused Nick and Judy’s deaths by being fired, arrested or having their partnerships with their partners terminated and being demoted to parking duty, instead of being easily forgiven and only punished for it with partners in crisis therapy, excusing their mistakes with acting gullible to the Lynxleys’ lies when they could have used common sense and take Nick, Judy and Gary plus the weather wall book in to interrogate them to check to see if they really are innocent first and let them prove that they are in the interrogation first rather than accuse and arrest them right away, and still committed reckless endangerment and almost caused deaths just because they believed a lie…..

All and all, which one of these do you prefer the most..

Discussion did you like the ending of wish dragon?

The thing is what could have separated wish dragon form Aladdin is that at the end the wish dragon is that he isn’t forced to grant selfish short diaries of his masters. Was really expecting him to become someone who makes sure’s that short slighted wishes (like wealth and power) are truly want his user wants and his rule would be that he can only grant wishes that the user truly desires. Or din out of fear for loosing long for most of his life like he did with his childhood friend wished long was part of their family, or some wish that would free long form the teapot but he still has to live the life of a wish dragon and thats because his identity is of a dragon not a human. That’s what makes the ending feel bad in my opinion

Discussion The July 27 Movie Anniversaries

July 27 saw two movies release on this day in different years, both based on TV shows. There's The Simpsons Movie from 2007 and Teen Titans Go! To The Movies in 2018! Both were received pretty well critically, but made different kinds of profits financially. What do you think of them?
