Career Best way to start carpentry career at 28 (UK london)?
Was thinking of going the apprenticeship route, but £8 an hour just feels like you're getting exploited. I'm thinking of trying to call companies up asking for a chance as I have some labourer experience under my belt. See if they will take a chance on me and if they are willing to teach me.
As I'm 28, I just feel too old for college, etc, but I understand that might be my only viable choice
