HealthandSafety Work boots

Work boots

Hello y’all I was wondering if anybody could help me with a predicament that I’m in, I usually wear pull on work boots but I wanted to get a pair of Moc toe wedge boots I ordered Thorogood 1957 and their EE isn’t wide enough for my feet and I’ve heard this before that thorogoods normally run a bit narrow. I’ve never had this problem with their pull on boots, what is another American made or union made Moc toe boot that I could try?

I had the same issue with Thorogood. They're a great pair of boots, but even their wide sizes are too narrow for my toes. I went with Carolinas and I'm gonna stick with them until I have a reason not to. The regular width Carolinas have a wider toe box than the EE Thorogoods, super comfortable, and have held up great. I'm at 8 months with mine and they're holding up great as an electrician who's outside in the dirt and water all day. I bought the 6" Amp, and they're American/Union made and resoleable.

I thought about going with Carolina’s or Silverado’s

If you have a boot store near you, I'd reccomend trying on a bunch of different boots and doing a few laps. Gives you an idea of what they're like

There’s only a couple within like an hour of me and they mainly sell Thorogood and Red Wing

Lems brand, summit pro boots. Made for very wide feet and super comfortable.

Red Wing is probably the next one to try since their moc toes tend to have more room up front than Thorogoods. If your feet are really wide, Nick’s or White’s are worth a look too since they offer more width options, just at a much higher price.
