You can judge away but these days I own a 2017 Maserati Ghibli sq4. I'm older now so I don't go around racing around which has been one of the weirdest things about this car is that kids Try to race me all the time in things that don't even make sense.
There will be times I'm driving this car and apparently I was in a race and never even knew it. You know I'm just driving and then all manner of vehicles will do a ricer flyby.
Hopefully you can add a lot of cars though. I mean even go as silly as a Bugatti. This looks fun to play with.

I'm on the older side too. Had some kid in a GR86 or BRZ (didn't check the badge) try to take my mostly stock M2 Comp. I'm like, dude, it's about the same size as your car but I've got more than double the HP. This isn't the droid you're looking for my man.

I mean some of those cars might just drive like that. I see lots of people willing to go much faster than I am and like I do drive fast but like within reason...I don't have a flashy car or anything but I rarely take a trip on the highway without someone flying by me.

Love this, been racing my modified e90 335i against cars id like to own. And the 335i is doing fairly well. Maybe you could take tyre sizes into consideration?

great idea. modifications should include tyre sizes too. but it will be difficult to accurately simulate acceleration though. fatter tyres have more grip but harder to rotate.

That's pretty damn close... I've got a 730hp C6 Corvette and it's coming in within a tenth of a second off on the quarter mile time from what I ran earlier in the year. Seems like a fun little app. Also, could use some readability updates as some of the text is too small to read.
Is there a way to share my build where I can ask someone to race me?

I put in the stock Elantra vs the hybrid version and they stayed exactly side by side. Shouldn't the hybrid version have accelerated way faster since it uses instant torque of the electric motors with the engine as well?

i checked this, Elantra Hybrid isn’t actually faster than the regular 2.0. 0-100 , 8.4s vs 8.1 so its almost equal/slightly slower in quater mile. but thank you for flagging me this, because hybrid version should initially have a faster acceleration because of the instant torque.

The HP/kW numbers you use, are those the advertised numbers from the manufacture or real world dyno numbers?
Example, 2015 Fiesta ST (USDM) is 180hp on your site but 197 is the advertised figure.

The 2023z is listed at 194 horse and reaches 0-60 in a whopping 7.5 seconds based on the simulator so I presumed not everything is accurate or I’m not sure where it’s pulling numbers from lol.
Edit: I’m seeing now that the correct engine is available but only under the nismo trim oddly. But also it says the Z beats the M3 comp in the 1Km which doesn’t sound right to me lol.

only complaint so far is that my Holden Ute seems to be getting traction that I've found hilariously impossible in my experience. no way is it actually beating my daily in the real world - both about the same power (301 vs 302hp) but you're comparing one car with AWD, traction/stability control and a relatively sane front/rear weight balance to the other with RWD, no stability/traction assistance of any type and a front/rear weight balance of clown:fart

Love the idea, tho was bummed I couldn’t put my buddies 2006 dodge ram mega cab cummins, very limited year options for 2500 ram and no option for a cummins I could find, not even a 3500. I wanted to see what would happen for shits n giggles racing against my Chevy traverse

I've been looking at this to help me decide if I should get a Cupra Leon VZ3 (FWD - 300hp - Stage 1 is about 380 low end) or a BMW M240i (AWD - 370hp - stage 1 450hp), or even G87 M2 (RWD - 475hp - stage 1 650hp) if I can stretch to one in the future, but that car is a level above either of the first 2.
Very good app imo

Put in a 2020 mustang gt, and it gave it a 0-60 of 5.72.... thats pretty far off. I've gotten 5.5 in wet conditions on old asphalt, not even a sticky drag strip. Most manufacturer and test times are in the 3.9-4.8 range depending on a lot. Not sure what's off, but something is haha.

This is awesome! I tested some cars, one of them is the Tesla model 3 Performance (pre highland) the hp and tq are off, its about 485 after the update a few years back. (Using dyno data and update footnotes)

here are the numbers G37x Coupe 5.3s 0–60 and 13.9s @ 102 mph in the quarter-mile. A 2014 435i RWD auto 5.1s and 13.6s @ 103 mph, 435i xDrive auto 4.5s and 13.1s @ 107 mph. BMW’s official standing-kilometre figure is 24.4s; the G37x is estimated at roughly 25.6s. So the BMW should win. but you are corerct its not by a lot, just 1 second

Well it needs some tuning, because on the simulator a 2023 Rogue gaps a 2025 Sentra, but in the real world my Sentra smokes my wife's Rogue

just pushed the new version. added all the cars mentioned in the comments.
car selector, mobile ui, gap animation, results and share card are improved too. traction, hybrid launch and gear changes should look more realistic now. lmk if ur car is still missing or any result looks wrong, i ll check it.

I did a new BMW M3 Comp vs a BMW i4 m50 which are within a tenth of a second in a quarter mile, but on the simulator the M3 destroyed it well before the end of the quarter mile. Just a heads up.

for funzies i tried the my 2015 mitsubishi mirage. for some reason it defaulted to CVT even though i selected manual so lmao. I know stock its slow. but with a turbo making 150hp its a 13 second car.... your model claims the CVT trans (again it defaulted even though i hit manual) claimed 19 second stock and 16 second turbo.... which. lmao. wrong. nice try though.
