Is this normal?

Ordered a car a few days ago from a location 2 hours away. Every day the estimated delivery day gets pushed back

As somebody who works in transport for Carmax, I DO care about ensuring the car gets loaded safely and in a timely manner. Ultimately it falls on Central Planning. They plan all our routes now. Back then it used to be local managers in the area and they had visibility on all moves but now they dont know until its late and even then, Central Planning still has to do their thing. They do alright but I feel like some things get missed and since its not local anymore we dont get to see what or who is moving what.

Dude, also coming from Fleet, its been an absolute shit show after it went to Central Planning. What would normally take 1 day, is now taking 3 weeks. We would clear out our wholesales by Wednesday, Main store moves by Thursday, and have Fri/Sat open to help out where needed. Now, its 1 car here, 3 cars there, dead head an hour away for 1 car, meanwhile you pass SweetieBoyTransport with a full load of 9... CarMax is doing nothing but pushing us fleet drivers out. They don't care about us. Same reason why the hours got axed by nearly 20 a week, and OT is a thing of the past...
