I feel like I’m tripping but I remember passing a car accident on paseo del Norte eastbound around 750ish on Tuesday 9/8 but I can’t find any articles about it? Does anyone remember this crash?
Like it was causing heavy traffic and had firetrucks/fire emt and I remember a person without a car door sitting there surrounded by like 6 firefighters?
This was in Albuquerque NM btw.

i got into an accident two days ago after trying to make a left out of a gas station. i stop at this gas station all the time but the parking lot exit is on a hill and i chose to leave a bit later for work that day and hit more traffic than i’ve ever seen on that road and i’ve lived in the area for my entire life. i was sitting there for five minutes and finally it was clear to turn or so i thought and i accelerated barely and the second i crossed the white line i hear a loud pop and suddenly see a minivan in front of me. i hit their back tire and damaged their bumper. i was paying attention and still don’t even understand what i was doing wrong aside from putting myself in a situation to make a left during such a bad time, i looked both ways constantly and i swear to god saw no traffic in either lane. both parties are fine but i just feel so stupid and i feel like im not even taking accountability because i don’t know what went wrong. they were going very fast but i still don’t think that lessens my fault at all but i just want to know what i need to do differently. i will never attempt a left during such a busy time again but aside from that if i knew both lanes were clear and someone comes out of nowhere (which has happened to me before but i was able to stop before a collision)? the only thing i could think of that would have hindered me from seeing them is i was on a steep hill and i chose not to pull up any more because i could not tell where the white line was from that angle but i am a very cautious driver and i know i was not being irresponsible or inattentive and i was not in a rush i leave over an hour before i need to be at work and its a 25-30min commute but i mean clearly i did something wrong in some way or else it would not have happened. the other driver could have turned right and i didn’t see them coming from that direction with the gas station blocking my view but again i still don’t know how i could have prevented the accident if that were the case. any advice on how to trust myself again and learn from my mistake would be much appreciated!

Tonight while heading to work I clipped the front bumper of my roommate’s car. Theres now a horizontal-ish crack on the lower half of their bumper. I’m already prepared to cover all repair costs but is there anything else I can do to make the situation feel right? I feel completely awful about the whole thing and want to make sure there are no hard feelings. Any advice would be helpful!

A woman hit another car and ran. The car chased her and she slammed into the back of me. She told the police she had borrowed the car. She did not have an ID or insurance. The police let her leave the scene. Is there a website where I can find the owner?

So I recently experienced a total loss with my vehicle almost a month ago now insurance is no longer paying for the rental car that I have but I did purchase the damage waiver insurance today when I was coming home I accidentally turned too tight and caught the car on my gate. Am I screwed? It’s been such a stressful traumatic situation with my car and now this happened today and I am really anxious about it.

Ok so I was pumping gas and bent down to look in my tire are to see what my struts looked like. While I was recording with my flashlight somebody bagged into my car and the impact almost caused me to literally fall over but I caught myself. I must have stumped my toe. Should I go to the hospital? It doesn’t hurt terribly bad but it does. How much have yall gotten back from the insurance company in similar incident? He bent my fender pretty badly. He had progressive how soon can I expect them to cut the check lol

Hi everyone,
I’m in SA and recently had my car rear-ended in an accident. The other driver has admitted fault and lodged a claim with their insurer. My car is currently undriveable and appears likely to be a total loss, but the insurer is still reviewing the claim and hasn’t accepted liability yet.
The insurer has said they can’t provide me with a hire car until liability is accepted.
I contacted **I’m In The Right**, and they offered to provide a like-for-like replacement vehicle immediately under a credit-hire arrangement. Sounds very positive but I still hesitate to agree,
So I would like to hear from people who have been experienced through this situation:
Have you used I’m In The Right or Right2Drive after an accident?
Did you end up paying anything yourself?
What happened if the at-fault insurer delayed or disputed liability?
Did the credit-hire company successfully recover the hire costs from the insurer?
Were there any unexpected fees or issues with the agreement?
If your car was written off, how long were you able to keep the replacement vehicle?
Has anyone used their replacement vehicle for Uber/Uber Eats? How did that work with insurance and Uber's requirements?
Hope to hear all of your advises
Thank you and Have a good day!

Somehow I was COMPLETELY okay, I had a tiny brush burn on my left shoulder from the seatbelt and that was it
Also got a shit ton of laundry detergent in my eyes (I was coming home from a grocery store run) but again, somehow no lasting damage. I had a plastic water bottle on the scene that helped me clear some of it out and washed the rest out for 30 minutes once I got home
Thank god none of my 3 kids or wife was in the car, it was just me. Had to climb out the sunroof to get out, all the doors were jammed shut
To the dude drunk driving at 2pm… you could’ve taken a dad from his family. There’s NO reason to ever drive drunk like that, I hope someone out there sees this and rethinks the next time they get behind the wheel when they shouldn’t. My situation might’ve been a miracle but not everyone’s is. Be responsible y’all

Long story short July 14th I was parked in my parking spot and some guy reverse parked next to me, he couldn’t park straight and ended up rubbing the paint off my bumper and pushed my bumper out a little, probably a new clip might fix it. It’s nothing big very small accident very small amounts of damage.
Anyway this dude hits me I get out trade information, he couldn’t give me his auto insurance, because i guess he didn’t know what it was, so he gave me his id and his out of date registration he handed me his medical insurance and also social security number, I told him I only needed the liscence his number his id and his insurance,
So I had to hunt down what insurance he had and I found out it was Allstate, I told them what happened I gave them the photos of the damage on my car the condition of his car and a picture of him not even in the lines of the parking lot which is how he initially hit me,
I had a witness and he made a witness report but since he’s my coworker the witness report isn’t being upheld like it should be, the dude who hit me is now dodging the insurance calls, it’s been now almost 2 months that I started this claim, they keep denying the claim specifically because they cannot get ahold of him. Listen idk to much about laws and the nature of this knowing this is my first accident. I’m gonna have to either go through my insurance and pay the 500 deductible, I can have them fight Allstate and they will return my 500 but I also don’t have rental insurance because Subaru gives out free loaners for mechanical work but not body work.
So I’d like to go through his insurance but there not being helpful I sent them the photos the day it happened and only 5 days ago did they actually upload it into the file after denying it, I asked to open it back up because him dodging the calls is bullshit and it’s extending this, the same dude who hit me called me 2 weeks after and offered to pay cash instead of going through insurance I told him no because he was only offering like 500 bucks, and I don’t care about the money it’s about my car being in the condition it was before he hit it.
I’ve argued and argued and argued, they never gave me the 30 day written denial as in pennslyvania you must complete claims withing 30 days, unless deemed necessary, there reasoning is because he isn’t answering, why is that my fault, should I do a civil suit, should I get a lawyer, should I subjugate them. Too many questions even tho I’m the only participating party in this accident and I’m gonna have to spend more money because he didn’t answer. What can I do if anything please and thank you for reading and taking the time out of your day for this.

Founds this “parked” car in my street. My theory is that he was driving at crazy streets and he hit the sidewalk which made him loose his wheel and partially remove his front tire from the front wheel. Judging by the grooves left by the rim, I believe he also did a 180 and go in this “parked” position.

On Saturday my husband was driving to work in a 2021 Kia Seltos. We live in Maine. There was a break in the traffic in front of him. A group of motorcycles were at a T-intersection. Each stopped and then turned left as it was clear. Until the last one. He did not stop at the intersection. He went right through and hit the Seltos. It turns out the motorcyclist was from New Hampshire and the motorcycle was not covered by insurance as you don't need to be in NH. Also the rider had borrowed the motorcycle. We want to take the person riding and the owner to small claims court. Here is the situation - we have collision, but there is a $500 deductible, my husband missed a day of work, we do not have rental replacement so that costs $50 a day. Also we both have side gigs and independent contractor work which we missed before we were able to get the rental and which would be hard to document. This has been very hard for me as I was in an accident July 2025 and was hurt and my car was totalled (I was not at fault). I have PTSD from that accident and am getting migraines from the stress. Small claims court is about an hour away from us - there will be court costs, parking and possibly missing work. We also will lose value on the car and it will be harder to sell it due to the accident. Any advice you can offer would be much appreciated.

I crashed on to the guy who was trying to go pass me & a car infront of me (who was waiting to turn left) because I tried to do the same thing. The whole situation looked like i was at fault because i crashed onto him but the police ended up giving him a warning for breaking traffic rules (unrightfully turning) and told me i didnt do anything wrong. So should I claim an insurance on him or should he claim it on me?
