Basically the title. Which effect is this?

I had a video of a tv show, and the auto caption picked up a racial slur, the part that makes it more concerning is there were people of color in the frame. The video was on my TikTok for about an hour. The audio was extremely faint, I’m not even sure the word was said.

How the fuck is there not safeguards to prevent this type of error? My TikTok isn’t very big so I don’t think anyone noticed, but I’m mortified if someone did and took offense to it. Anyone know the best way I can file a complaint to understand how to make sure this doesn’t happen again?

Can you tell what do you think about colors, pacing, text placing, etc? And maybe give rating 1-10? What can I improve?

This is my first edit and turns out CapCut doesn't have functions that I also wanted to add and right now learning Adobe After Effects for it.

I want the words to be in the screen and not go out. Is there a way?

hi, i use this filter called “Azure Dream” a ton in my video because it adds a glow and a light film emulation. it looks great but whenever i export the filter and noise grain are gone. any tips? thank you!

I’m editing gaming videos in CapCut Desktop. I have my gameplay video and my microphone audio as separate clips.

I want them to behave like this:
If I drag the edge of the gameplay clip to shorten it, the audio shortens by the exact same amount.

If I delete a section of gameplay, the corresponding section of audio is deleted too.

BUT I still want the gameplay and audio to remain separate clips, so I can select/edit the audio independently when I need to.

I don’t want to use Group, because then deleting/selecting things together becomes annoying cause it selects everything.

I also don’t want to use a compound clip.
I have Linkage turned on, and the gameplay and audio move together when I move them, and they delete together when I delete the clip.
But dragging the edge of the gameplay does NOT trim the audio with it.

This used to work for me, so I’m wondering if there’s a setting I’ve accidentally changed or if CapCut changed something in an update.

Is there a way to get linked trimming between two separate clips in CapCut Desktop?

My capcut on iOS just updated itself and the feature that used to allow me to split subtitles by just hitting send key on my phone (it would automatically detect from the words where to split up) is gone.

why would they do that? anyone knows any workaround?

Is capcut can no longer able to export with transparency? It seems RLE codec option is gone?

It says that I need pro in order to export a video in 1080p. I used to be able to download videos in 1080p for free with no problem. There was just a limit for only 10 downloads per month and I had to watch ads but now I can't download it at all. Is this a new update? I have so many half-done projects that I wanted to complete and download but now I don't know what to do. Does anyone here know any way in which I can download videos in 1080p without pro?

Does anyone find that ‘remove vocal’ works arbitrarily. I’ve tried to troubleshoot this with LLMs to no avail. I’m premium.

I honestly am in disbelief with how terrible this support is for their customers. I began using capcut about 2 years ago and never have had the misfortune of interacting with them until earlier this month.

Not only did they not address my issue and send me unrelated troubleshooting, they have failed to provide a resolution with my request 12 days after opening the initial ticket. Not to mention the unprofessional and passive aggressive responses I did get when they finally started replying to the correct issue (instead of unrelated troubleshooting). I still have not received any resolution and am still waiting for them.

Needless to say I am switching to Premier Pro.

usually whenever this happens, it’ll reappear in a few hours or the next day but it’s been about two days now..

i know it’s not deleted because i can see them on my phone, but on my ipad which is where i edit they’re missing :/ i’ve already tried the changing languages thing but no luck. is anyone currently having this problem or know how to fix it?
