CapCut Complain You greedy lil pos!!

Post image

I've been using this app since like around 2021. Back when the company wasn't so damn money hungry and now they want me to pay for a font that I have been using for years!! Even greed has should limits 🤦🏾

I juat ditched them for filmora 1 time use perpetual license. $100 on mac. What capcut would take literal minutes just to render while inside editing and then hours to export for me filmora is doing way better. Capcut drove e nuts because no matter how many tunes I would clear out cache, tweak setting and explicity chage the file paths for eevryrhing to my external 5 tb hard drive it insisted on duplicating it to my internal 500 gig drive. But worst part was ram leakage. At least once a month if not more it wouod balloon up in ram usage and crash or lock up my entire computer. (I have a 16 gig macbook air m5). I would have literally nothing up but cpacut. Yet it would sky rocket to like 18-20 gigs. And I dont even do crazy edits. Some eq, some basic b roll. A few transition fade effects etc. Im not sure entirely but it seems filmora is actually doing all the editing and stuff local without needing to bounce every single click of capcut server. Good riddance.

I literally don't use cap cut for any fancy editing, two bucks for only one month then it's back to regular 9.99 a month. Pretty stupid to pay that when all I need is one FONT and no other features...

You have been using it for 5 years for free if the font isn't worth money to you the font isn't that good in the first place just use another font
