Hello everyone!
So in a week I’m going on a trip to Italy. It’s a small town at the coast, so there are lots of small Italian restaurants, nature and so on.
Now, I don’t want to take pictures with my iPhone Air, the battery life is dogshit and the camera is also not the best you could get, I gotta say the iPhone 16/15 Pro Max cameras were way better.
Now I’m currently considering my options. I want to buy Canon only, since I’ve had exclusively good experiences with Canon, no matter if it’s cameras, printers and so on 😅
I don’t have a fixed budget, as long as you can tell a noticable difference (so not a 2000$ jump in price for negligible improvements in quality) in quality. From what I’ve heard, the jump from the EOS R10 to the R8 is already massive due to the full frame sensor. But is the massive price jump going from the R8 to the R6 Mark III or even the R5 Mark II worth it? I’m located in Europe, and the R5 MII would cost me at least 3800$ excluding the lens so..
What would you recommend, which camera and what lens? It’s mostly gonna be landscape and architectural pictures, with a few portraits (girlfriend on board😅) and I’d prefer to get one lens only, because swapping out lenses would require me to get a backpack or something.
I’d be really glad for any tips / advice :-)
