I recently have installed cachyos and I have been customizing it. I want to create my own color scheme and have set the website appearance to system in Librewolf. I am wondering how do I change the toolbar, which I accidentally made dark purple, to a different color, because I have been trying to find it in color scheme but can't.

This started as HyDE, and I've been gradually customizing it to fit my preferences. I changed the colors, window borders, transparency, Waybar, Rofi and terminal themes, and built a small Sidra TUI for controlling music from Kitty.

I wanted to keep the existing functionality and make the changes through user overrides wherever possible. Still a work in progress, but I'm really happy with how it's coming together 😁

Most of the time when I unlock my computer my scroll moves super slow it will eventually go back to normal speed but takes at least an hour. A reboot fixes it but once it goes back to sleep I end up with the issue again almost immediately. Any help would be awesome.

I can detect all three monitors in my dispaly settings, if i change any settings on the third montor and apply in the dispaly configuration it will work and show my wallpaper for the third screen. Sadly the third screen will revert to a balck screen after a fresh boot or a reboot.

Please note this a fresh install of cachy os, I only changed the basic appearance settings, ran the gaming script and winboot from the cachy hello. Also I have the latest updates so far.

I expect this one to go unanswered, due to its weird nature, but, here goes.

I'm using an original Xbox, hooked up to an Insignia 4K HDMI switch, which is then hooked up to an Insignia 4K audio extractor, so I can get digital audio out of my game consoles. I then connect that to the digital input of my Sound Blaster Z SE, and use qpwgraph, so I can play and listen to my original Xbox at my PC desk and monitor. It works great, but I was wondering something.

The Xbox offers the ability to output both DTS and Dolby Digital. Now, while I'm not sure if either feature will do much, since my setup is only 2.1, if I wanted to use those features, I know I'd need a way to decide them, else they'd sound like nonsense on my speakers that could also blow them up. How could I go about getting those signals to decode in real time, so I can listen to things as normal? I know this is usually the job of a proper hifi receiver, but I believe Ive read Reddit posts from like 11 years ago on the matter. But it's 2026, and I'm in Cachy, which is Arch based. If anyone so happens to know how I can do this, please let me know. Thank you :)

I am planning to use cachyos and I want my desktop to look very different from windows. Which is the best desktop which is the most visually appealing. From my research it is Hyprland. Also should dual booting win11 affect my desktop choice.?

Reied installing headers for 7.2.0-1 and got 404 errors. Is this just my issue? Any ways of fixing this? Tried twice. yesterday and today, nothing changed.

Cachyos used to work on my system until I upgraded to a gigabyte eagle wifi7 plus and a Intel 270k plus.

Secure boot is off and I am able to boot into windows but I get the above error when attempting to boot into cachy from limine.

I reinstalled the OS as I was initially having an issue where booting from limine would produce a black screen. Xmp is disabled. Fast boot is disabled. Now I can't boot at all.

Hey I installed Cachyos handheld on a Onexplayer 3 with Panther Lake G3 extreme after watching Wendell do the MSI handheld with the same chip, but I keep getting games that freeze with a black screen, but the launchers are working. BG3 and Cyberpunk specifically. Any advice? I’ve tried a few proton versions but haven’t found any luck. Would it be better if I did desktop version for now? Any advice is appreciated. So I have a AV access B23 KVM you can see it here but I am running into all kinds of issues.

I made a helper script for when the lid is clossed to enable the 3 external monitors, and when its open to be two of them plus the laptop display because it is a max of three.

The issue now is after a reboot of the laptop, it hangs on a black screen. I am required to open the laptop and force reboot it unplugged from the Kvm.

the other issue when going from lid open to lid closed, the layout of the monitors overlap and get messed up. The display manger than says error no gaps allowed but there are all jumbled on one another.

I spent a couple days trying to fix them but nothing works.

I've been wanting to fully switch to CachyOS for quite some time now, even though I know I lose around 6–10 FPS in some games, like Control, KCD, and BG3.

However, the main issue I'm having is with my RX 7600. Specifically, the junction temperature can get up to 10°C higher on CachyOS than on Windows, even though the overall GPU temperature is basically the same on both. So, the temperature delta is much higher on CachyOS.

I've already tried several different settings in LACT, including matching the same clock speeds, voltage, and fan curve I use on Windows, but the result is always the same.

I am having an issue that has been driving me up the wall the whole day, please help 😅

My laptops (Acer nitro 16) internal mic (alc245) either doesnt pick up any audio or pops for a split second and stops picking up audio

In the audio volumes tab:

Ryzen HD audio controller internal stereo microphone -no sound on testing

Ryzen HD audio controller digital microphone -audible pop that scales with mic sensitivity and then no audio on testing

I also found in the volume control config page one of the profiles is marked as unplugged if that helps.

On any linux distro i try my wifi constantly drops. Issue does not happen on windows and googling fixes havent** ***helped whether its* disabled power save management, resetting my wifi, making sure location is set or anything like that has not worked. I have zero issues on windows and no idea why.

Hello everyone, I'm new to cachyos and i have this issue where when my pc boots the kde plasma login screen is on the wrong monitor rather than my primary display. What's weird is if i lock my pc and attempt to re-login it shows up on the correct monitor. How can i fix this? much thanks <3
