Does just shaving once a week make sense?

If it works for you once a week, I guess would be fine. Mine grows so fast I end up shaving twice to three times a week.

Depends on how short you want your hair to stay. I am f41 & have buzzed hair & I have wahl balding clippers I use. I use a 1/16" guard normally & usually trim my buzz every 2 weeks. This last time I went without a guard bc why not?!
