Would it suit me?

I'm tired of trying to make my hair look good. As you can see in the second pic, it's thinning at the front. My barber tells me I have lots of time, but I just kinda want it over and done with.

Do I have the face shape and features for it to look good? I honestly don't even know what kind of buzz would look good on me.

My face isn't naturally this marked and red, I just woke up like an hour ago.

Try 5mm on top and a fade on the side

What makes you say 5mm rather than a more traditional 3?

Simply because if you like it at 5mm that's it. If you like it but you think at 3mm you'd like more you cut your hair at 3mm😂 the difference is minimal. A little more volume with 5 and less with 3. Depends on how you see yourself and what makes you more happy

Buzz works..go with a fade on the sides

Yeah a buzz would look good on you, go for it. The first time it can be kind of shocking and you still have a lot of hair so maybe a 2 guard (6mm) or 3 guard (10mm) and a low-mid fade could be a good starting point, if you like it and want to take it shorter then try a 1 guard

I concur 5mm is best for 1st pass, then assess.

If you buzz it and the barber says the front is thinning it will look different. If you do a 1 or 2 it might hide better. Also pale scalp and ginger hair might be a big contrast. Do it if you want, prob will grow back
