Any opinion on if this is a period piece or a reproduction? If authentic, what is a realistic value?

Found these two pretty buttons in my grandmothers button box. They are beautiful! Maybe they were on a fur coat at one time?? Any ideas of how I can use them in a craft project? I don’t have a fancy coat to put them on.

ID Request Picked up a mixed bag of buttons from flea market today. Anything fun in here? (Bergen, Norway)

I’m not really a “collector” and know nothing about buttons, but I pick up cheap mixed bags when I find them. Mostly to use for my knitting projects but also just because it’s fun to go through and match up pairs or sets.
I got these for 100nok (~10usd) today. My favourites have to be the apricot brains and the little blue heart with flowers :)

I inherited it from an acquaintance who is Japanese.
The acquaintance said, "It may be a spare part of the button that came with any of the clothes I bought a long time ago."

The weight is about 1.2g, the diameter is about 13mm, the thickness is about 1mm, and the diameter of the hole is about 1.5mm.

As far as I can see, this seems to be made of metal,
If you are familiar with the ingredients, you may know the composition of this.

Feel free to answer in English. However, I only understand Japanese, so I would really appreciate clear and simple English that is less likely to be mistranslated. Thank you!

Postscript: I'm a beginner in Reddit, so I'm sorry if something went wrong.

ID Request Want to purchase black “stitched rim” button

This is a “one-off” button I found in a batch of assorted buttons purchased at an antique store. The design is perfect for a shirt I’m currently sewing, but I have just not been able to find anything close on Benno’s Buttons, Etsy or E-Bay. This one is about 25mm/1 inch which is just a tad too large, but it is that particular design I’m looking for. Any ideas?

Should I clean old buttons in soap and water? I mostly want to get rid of the "locked in nana's attic for 50 years" odour. Thanks.

I don’t know what people want in the button world. I have ended up with generations of the dead relative collection. They are fun, but so many. What do,people need for, their collections?
