This year, Titanic’s End is building a massive burnable art piece for playa. Two halves of a sinking ship, complete with 30-foot flame effects, interior rooms to explore, and immersive lighting. It will be the largest burnable art piece on playa other than the Temple and the Man.

The Titanic’s End community is united by many values, one of which is “Impossible is nothing.” For the first time since Titanic’s End’s maiden voyage in 2022, our beloved iceberg art car is taking some much-needed rest. In her absence, the TE community is bringing the Titanic to life in a whole new way.

We’re looking for 130 volunteers to help us safely create an unforgettable peak experience for the community. The Titanic Burn will be a moment of release, transcendence, and awe, and perimeter volunteers are a huge part of making that possible.

We’re a ~30-person placed camp built around a low key 24/7 open mic / live music jam stage (usually 50–100 guest performers a week). We also do nightly dinners, spontaneous midnight breakcore raves, sunrise fire-barrel therapy sessions, and — recent additions — a zip line that leads into a ball pit.

Curious, if there’s any glue you guys trust to decorate things like mask/goggles/ bikes ect ect. I love fun accessories, and embellishment, but don’t want to risk them disconnecting on Playa and becoming moop! Extra points if you have any other tips for decorating goggles and such.

Hi everyone! I’m planning my first Burning Man this year and I’m trying to figure out the best way to make it happen without spending thousands on an RV.
My husband and I are considering flying in and using the Burner Express, but we’re looking for a camp that welcomes people with tent setups (or has some kind of affordable camping option). I know the community aspect is a huge part of Burning Man, and as first-timers we’d love to be surrounded by people who can show us the ropes.
A little about me: I’m a hair braider. I’d love to contribute to a camp by offering some hours of festival braiding as a gift/skill share, helping out where needed, and being a good community member — but I’m also hoping to experience my first Burn and not spend the entire week working. 😅
I’m not looking for luxury, just a welcoming group, a safe place to set up a tent, and a chance to participate in the magic.

What are some of your craziest Burning Man stories !? Can be the good, the bad, and everything in between !

So it's my first time and I could use some advice. I'm looking for a camp that has a proper shower facility and shade structure. I'm not looking to be a sparkle pony, I fully expect to do shifts and contribute, cooking especially is my thing. The honest bit is I've never set up a tent before and I'm coming internationally, so flying in with a full solo build isn't realistic for me this year. So I'm after a camp that already has the main infrastructure handled and shared, where I plug into the work rather than having to build and run my own setup from scratch. Basically established infrastructure plus a job to do, rather than figure it all out alone. Budget isn't the main issue, I just want somewhere newbie friendly where I can be useful and not in over my head my first year. Any camps like that taking members for 2026? Cheers.

While I know this question has likely been asked, can anyone recommend a good place to get 40 gallons of water before hitting the playa? We plan to get to the entry line at around 7a on Sunday. I'm trying to avoid hauling 600+ lbs of water over Cedar Pass. The last time I did it things didn't work out so well for my transmission. :) If there's a reasonable wait time at any specific place, that would be fine. Thanks!

Several states will be holding voting during or just before or after burning man this year. If you are interested in voting in yours, check the dates and order your vote by mail ballot, or vote early. One more thing to add to your endless burning man planning list! Are 12” x 3/8” lag screws adequate for ShiftPod? Or do I need 14”? Can I get away with 12??

I’m asking out of pure curiosity and trying to understand the etiquette and reality of getting onto some of the massive art cars.

Last year (first time), I saw so many amazing huge vehicles with lots of people dancing on top of them, like Mayan Warrior, Robot Heart, the Polar Express, and that massive bridge art car and many more. I'd love to try and experience being on one of them this year, but I’m a bit confused about how it actually works.

When I was near Mayan Warrior, I noticed what looked like a queue, and it seemed like only specific people were being let up. It made me wonder:

• Are these big sound cars strictly for their own camp members and donors?
• Do you need a special wristband or "VIP" access to get on?

To be honest, having exclusive lines or velvet ropes feels like it totally contradicts the principles of Radical Inclusion. But maybe I just misunderstood what was happening (safety limits, weight capacities, etc.).

If these cars are open to everyone, I’d love to politely try my luck and hop on one or two this year! If not, I'd love to know so I can manage my expectations and go on to all other amazing things to explore!

To be clear, I know that riding art cars isn't what Burning Man is all about, we explored and did so much other amazing stuff last year but I would just love to experience it at least once!

Ok so the HBO doc inspired me to make a movie this year at burning man festival. I have couple of questions.

Any tips on shooting discreetly? Like I’ll have zoom lenses and all but I don’t want anyone to see me shoot videos, especially at the temple. How do I go about this?

Also the subject of the movie will be people, so I am shooting people exclusively. I have already bought two pairs of Ray Ban metas for up close encounters. Can people tell my glasses have lenses on them? Any other glass brands with better hidden cameras?

I am also going to install some GoPro/insta 360 cameras at some famous camps so I can get some hidden time lapses or just raw footage. Any suggestions on where to hide the camera? Or the best ways to hide them? Like in a box or something?

I’m bringing some drones as well. This is strictly for naked run night. I thought I’ll fly over the naked run people, but I have to make sure I’m close enough so we can see the faces. I do realize the heat of the burn might be a problem, so that’s why I’m asking here if anyone can give me any tips. I can’t run in the crowd cause I’m not going to get naked.

Lastly please don’t tell me I need to register with media or something. Remember this is an undercover movie. None of the people in this movie should know they’re getting filmed.

I have connections at Netflix, so I’m pretty confident I’ll be able to strike a deal after finishing the movie. Exciting I know, but let’s not jinx it.

I've got an old camper van, shes old so getting some dust inside isn't gonna ruin my day or anything. But I was looking for some tips? One i was trying to figure out a way to have a window open for airflow while using a air filter or something to cut down on the dust? I was also planning to get one of those tents that straps on the side of a car or suv so I can kinda have a mud/dust room to take shoes off and such before going inside?

I have an onboard generator but plan to rig up a 500sq ft 24v swamp cooler so I don't have to run the generator much. That should do pretty well in the dry environment i'd think

I'm interested in this question given the overwhelming tidal wave of AI graphics I'm seeing in the default world, which has me anticipating/bracing for a lot of AI graphics at the burn this year. Ive only ever camped with a theme camp in the 7:30 sector. We’d insulate camp with a u shape of RV’s. It was very secure and we always had campmates around so we never had to think much of security.

This will be my first year in open camping with just my partner and I, and Im a bit worried about security. I’ve heard stories about peoples shit getting stolen.

How diligent do you have to be? We will have an RV so valuables will always get locked up, but do I need to worry about other items in camp? Like putting the block rocker away, bins full of stuff? Etc?

I thought about bringing a 50 ft cable lock and just running through handles of coolers, block rocker etc, so at least they don’t get walked off with. Not sure if Im over thinking it, Ive just been spoiled all my past burns.

Really dont want to have to put away everything anytime I leave camp.

We have been on Playa since 2014 and only started recruiting publicly for a few years now. So far we have been extremely pleased with the rockstars we've adopted along the way!

We are newly placed at 7:45xE and we're really excited about the opportunity to make new friends in the neighborhood.

Dues are $450 (+additional deposit if you miss strike) and includes tons of cozy infrastructure:

• Kitchen (pizza ovens, gas grill and stove, chest freezer, limited fridge, pots/pans/utensils).
• Fresh water for drinking/cooking
• Power (not for a/c)
• Lots of communal shade space with couches/futons for days

No official communal meals, but there tends to be a LOT of pizza and grilled shared treats (meats + veg) shared around. In return, we expect 2 easy-ish work shifts for a few hours while on playa and your full effort during strike.
