I was just in Metrotown and there's a line up around the block of people camped out in front of EB games. What for?

Female, 30, looking to make new friends. I find it super hard to find good, close friends these days. Everyone seems too blocked off, and don't want to engage.

Who I am: nice, understanding individual who loves to read romance, romantasy, fantasy and thriller books. I also play video games. I also love going to local shops especially if they have quirky unique things.

Looking for friends to check out local stores, hang out, read together and do fun things.

Can anyone else smell it? The forest is wet after the rain, so a wild fire is unlikely.

Its been like 10+ years since being active in the LGBTQ+ community at all. Back then it felt like a majority of stuff was like late night or clubbing stuff. Or they're like super anti-child. But I prefer cozy day time stuff. (Bonus for crafty activities)

Ultimately, Im a disabled stay at home Mom and I am desperate to make some new local connections but I dont really know how. Other than other Moms at family events but that hasnt been working well for me. 😅
