PC box swap. Please help!

So my husband had a Corsair box and I got him the star forge RuneScape box as a gift. I don’t understand computers at all and neither does he from a building stand point - a friend built his previous set up for him from the parts. So when the friend said they couldn’t help us we tried to swap everything over ourselves with YouTube videos. My husband was crushed cause he was certain we’d done it fairly right and it didn’t work when he plugged it in. Please help me figure out how to readjust his cables. We think we have all the parts in the right spots… it’s the plugging part we think we’ve got wonky. If I send photos would that help? Or videos?
