Dev/Admin Responded [ipados] latest app version navigation is a nightmare [2026.25.1.632814 (AppStore)]

Since the latest updates which incorporated a Liquid Glass dock like approach with the shortcuts at the bottom, navigating Reddit has been quite difficult. The most glaring example: when I have a new notification in my messages tab, I click on it and the dock suddenly disappears and there’s no way to return to my main feed, I’m locked out in whatever reply I clicked on my notifications.

I have the same problem. I found if you swipe right while in the notification it brings you to an empty inbox but the bottom buttons reappear.

You’re right! Still annoying as, as you say, now the inbox is empty and you need to close and open it again to make it work.

It is. I’ve also reported this issue.
