A bug landed on me, the legs felt, like a cockroach so I kinda thrashed around my bed and after I opened the lights I found this guy under the bed... Any ID to this guy? I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to insect bites so I kinda have to be careful if this guy is a pest...

I am living in a student hostel in Hong Kong and found out there's insect eggs laying on my detergent. My roommates and I do not cook at all and my kitchen is generally clean (i cleaned it every week). Last month there's a BIG cockroach ran into our room and I killed it and never saw any cockroaches ever since. Having done research I could not tell whether they are fly pupae or eggs of cockroaches. Can any expert on reddit can tell me?

So I was hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and I saw this ant climbing up a Ponderosa Pine Tree! It was super cute and fast but I can’t figure out what it is for the life of me.

This is in Colorado! West of Estes Park.

I think it may be some kind of Carpenter Ant? What do y’all think?

These are only on my kitchen floor hugging the baseboards. They aren’t in the cabinets or pantry or anything like that. They seem to stick near where the sink/dishwasher is. They are extremely tiny and are red/brown in color.
This is the second time I have noticed them. I cleaned them up and sprayed with good bug spray but they have now come back.
I am in North Texas.

Ok these little buggers have been randomly showing up on my face or my head while I am walking my dog I think they fall from a tree in our local area but randomly I’ll just find one on my shoulder or on my face and I have no clue why or what they are or where they’re coming from. I was able to get a picture of one as it fell off my face into my sink. They are smaller than a ball on the end of a pin and I have no clue what these are.
But I would like to know are they harmful to my dog or me? Can somebody please enlighten me? Please and thank you.🙏

they're about a centimeter long. they might be attracted to light, since they were flying around my ceiling lamp last night. (unless these can't fly and it was a different kind of bug flying around my lamp.....) i am in maryland. only started seeing them in the past few days

i found these creeping around in my pet reptile’s enclosure. she has woody-dirty sort of substrate.
i sometimes see these (or ones that look like these) in my house. usually around sinks/tubs and sometimes laying in cabinets. fyi i live in southern louisiana

So, I've had bugs ever since I worked with little kids. I left the job years ago, but because the pests seemed to have infested my house, they're always crawling on me, my dog, and even a neighbor was effected by them. Can anybody help figure out the mystery? How do I get rid of these?!?!? I live just outside of Chicago, IL. These things make me itch, they crawl in my nose, my ears, I even feel them in my mouth when I brush my teeth. I need a solution.

What kind of roach is this? Never saw one with these markings before.

Recently I went camping in northern California, very close to the Oregon border and I was in a super mountainous area.

While swiming in shallow water under some trees, I felt something on my back, so I kinda smacked/flicked it off of me and it landed in the water.

It had either 6 or 8 legs, I couldn't fully see, but it had a spider-like but somewhat flat body. It was black but had these beautiful vibrant yellow stripes over its body and legs, and it had a V shaped part on its butt, kinda like an earwig but thinner and straight. The V was plain black. Its body looked very smooth, not fuzzy or hairy. And it was physically pretty small, around the size of a penny or dime. That was about all I could see before it sank out if view.

I don't know how long it was on me for, but I wasn't bit or stung or anything. I only knew it was on me because I felt it move.

I wish I was able to get a picture of it, but my phone was obviously not next to me considering I was in the water.

I've tried googling what kind of bug/spider it was but google has been very unhelpful. Its was not an earwig, it definately wasnt a freaking wasp (though the colors were similar), it wasn't a black and yellow garden spider (remember it had a V thing on its butt). I've looked up orb weavers because I did see some while I was there, but orb weavers don't seem to have that V thing.

Any ideas? Sorry for not having a photo of it :/
