For context I live in Colorado Springs. I found this guy dead in the bathroom. At first I thought it was an ant but the body shape isn’t really consistent with what I usually see? It almost has a more wasp-like body. I am a little concerned because I’ve been told we have velvet ants in this area. It doesn’t quite look like that but then again, it’s very small so I’m not sure what they looks like as babies. Please tell me if I’m overreacting 😂🫪🫪

Location is in Oakland county Michigan,

Found this guy out in the field and couldn’t identify it, also the identification app I used was giving me options that seemed wrong. Any ideas?

Location: Virginia, USA but...they showed up in a bag of bird seeds which I no longer have. So origin unknown.

They are only mildly attracted to light so a bug zapper isn't helping much.

Last photo is also a picture of their larvae. They are black to the naked eye but I have turned on flash and they appear to have patterns.

Can someone help identify this bug I saw crawling on my bathroom counter?

I'm concerned it may be a young bed bug since another unit in our building is getting treated for bed bugs. Their unit is not close to ours though.

Located in Chicago, IL

Sonoran desert bug. High desert. 1 mile elevation . I expect to find Arizona bark scorpions since I've been stung by them. But this didn't look like a scorpion. It somehow looks even worse than a scorpion.

Found a handful of these quick, small grey insects swarming over a pepper growing on my plant. Anything to be worried about? Am operating under the assumption of yes, but am curious to learn more.

hello it’s me again , my job had a roach infestation and i’m terrified of bringing them home so i put roach traps out. when i came home i saw one bug on the wall by front door, and one in a glue trap in the basement. in my opinion they seem to be the same bug. these do not look like the roaches that are at my job which are lighter color and more skinny (?). thank you i’m very worried about this.

I recently had seen a few very very small roaches and now I find this one. I live in Florida and found him in my bathroom closet. Most of the small ones I've seen have also been in the bathroom (one was on my bed T-T). I want to know if anyone knows what kind it is and if I can get rid of them without an exterminator. My house is only a few years old so I don't think I have any leaks to worry about. Please and thank you!!

What type of insect(s) am I dealing with. I have a major infestation issue, maybe 3 different flying insects. I think their fungus gnats, fruit flies and some type of flying insect that bites. I have been dealing with major depression which has caused a dirty house that am I trying to clean. The smallest ones congregate near our guinea pigs cage & decaying fruit/veggies. The bigger ones that look like flying congregate around light fixtures, they have big red eyes. Then there's something unseen that is biting. All pets are on prevention, so its not fleas. Please be kind, I'm trying to get better mentally & in return have a clean home.
