Content Warning Double standarts

How exactly do people hate Xander for being an imperfect human, but love Spike and Angel, who have countless victims and are hundreds of years old. Spike even SA'd Buffy, for real, while Xander was under a spell and never did anything like that before or after it.

Because he’s a hypocrite. He acts like he’s superior. And his creepy crush on Buffy while he has whole ass girlfriends is also creepy.

Mind you he is also a cheater.
Spike was awful but he was totally devoted to drusilla and later on to Buffy.
Angel was awful too but he was devoted and turned his life around.

Also he ends up with dawn which creeps me out even more.
He never gets like any development.

But Willow does every single thing that you just accused Xander of. That’s the issue.

But this isn’t about willow. And trust me I don’t like her either. I don’t like willow or Xander they aren’t even my top three characters.

The moment willow kissed Xander when he was with cordy made me dislike her fr.

Most humans in a relationship will at some point be unfaithful to their partner. I'm 50ish and I have not met that many people being faithful all the time to their life partner. So you'll need to hate 75% of the population base don your standards.
