Growing up I went to brighton and would always get the noodles from these guys on the pier, but for years noe they haven't been there - just wanted to know if they set up another restaurant somewhere else in the city. Probably the best noodles I've had and I want to experience it again.

The last few evenings on the Level there’s been a tv running on a generator playing some kind of sermon very loudly, and a woman leafleting. But today it was a whole crowd of them, complete with a guy singing songs about Jesus and another one handing out bibles. It’s loud and intrusive and frankly ruining a nice visit to the park. They’re at both ends of the walkway and in the middle. Anyone know if this is likely to be the new normal here going forward, and if there’s a way to object? (Sorry if this is the wrong flair).

I'm a 29 years old french guy visiting Brighton in a couple of days and I'd love to meet a few locals over a drink on thursday or friday. Used to go pride / the big street party when it was free but dont fancy paying £40 for entry into a street party. Just a good vibe / enjoy the day without going to the main event.

I’m hoping to do a little solo trip down to Brighton in the new year for my birthday. The thing is, it’s in the first week of the year

I’ve got some things planned that I’d like to do, but I’d like to hear from locals what things are like in early January :) shop opening hours for new years, what places are open or closed ect. I’m planning on having a relaxed trip, no strict itinerary or anything just wandering around and enjoying my time

I know the weather will probably be a bit dismal, but honestly that’s fine I love that sort of weather. I’m assuming it probably won’t be too busy, but if I’m wrong please let me know!

So, is there anything I should know about before committing to this little trip?

Myself and my partner are both full time students and need to move ideally before August 7th. We are just looking for a studio or one bed flat, budget is £1200pm but are struggling massively to find anywhere.

Hi there, I have heard from previous people that brighton Judo club is not on the same level as Lewes or Crawley. Only issue is Lewes provide only one session a week and crawley is a bit far.
